The worst part is Dan handing more ammunition to the haters about how he’s a huge crybaby when he doesn’t get his way. Shoulda just taken the loss on the chin.
Try these stats on:The stats I'm having a hard time with: 14 Orebs to 3, 14 more shots taken. And they actually made almost all their FTs. In what world does that equate to a loss against a sub .500 team?
There will be major moves. Softest good UConn team I can remember in terms of physicality, athleticism, intimidation. We don't run, we don't dunk.Ready to really shake up this roster in the offseason. Everything feels stale.
Worst big east in a decade and we get second.
You are spot on. That is the only thing that matters. And right now there is trouble in paradise.Good rhetorical question. I never have been concerned with seeding. I read the threads, but rarely comment on them. I more concerned with how the team plays down the stretch and fixing their weaknesses. I just don't think they have fixed them.
Sadly true. There has been an overall nonchalant attitude to this team that is hard to figure out and not sure it’s getting fixed this seasonProblem is we keep needing things to fabricate some alleged fire that’s supposedly hiding somewhere. If clinching a regular season title wasn’t enough for a fire, what is???
Contact with a ref should trigger an auto suspension if I’m not mistakenWhy would he be suspended?
The team has no one that can consistently step up when the going gets tough and pick up everyone else. No one wants to be the guy. No one is the guy. Everyone's looking for someone else to make things happen. It's been a problem all year.Good rhetorical question. I never have been concerned with seeding. I read the threads, but rarely comment on them. I more concerned with how the team plays down the stretch and fixing their weaknesses. I just don't think they have fixed them.
I’ll answer that for you: we’ve played 31 games.Karaban can’t have that type of game, Mullins has to cool it he shot us out of the game, and the turnovers are just mentally weak players. Not sure the last part is changing.
i started telling myself in 2nd half he was not making adjustments because he was saving them for the quarterfinals. lolTry these stats on:
Tarris was 7-10
We shot 3-23 on 3s
That is the definition of coaching malpractice
Stuff to be worried about sure, but we will see how they look when they start playing basketball again in a 12 or 13 days.
He really needs to do a better job of valuing the ball. Any team we face with guard(s) that are steal specialists (there are many) will continue to zero in on him like a heat seeking missile, like Darling in the first SJ game.Silas was fine today- it was UConn’s no offense against a decent zone. Guess what opposing teams will throw against UConn in the tournament? Mullins couldn’t hit anything from outside today. A lot went wrong today. Loved Ross though- he is showing his talent.
I don't think he will be, but he bumped the ref so he's gonna be writing a check at a minimum.
Hurley is an balloon knot. There was no excuse for behaving like that at the end
Other than the STJ game, it’s the way they’ve played much of the last month.THAT team has no chance of getting out of the first weekend
Did he? Maybe there's an angle I haven't seen but I've watched the replays and it doesn't really look like itI don't think he will be, but he bumped the ref so he's gonna be writing a check at a minimum.
Karaban & Mullins were 1-15 from 3 and I’d say 75% of those shots were completely wide open. I’m not even sure that’s possible to replicate a stat like that again.
Yep, Gold went straight up. We had no business getting bailed out in that game. The final play summed up the team today. AK stood in the backcourt with the ball until he was face to face with Silas and put it in his hands and Silas was just hoping to get bailed out on the drive to the hoop.Stop saying it was a foul. It was a good contest, and Demary didn’t finish.
