My only complaint is that we didn’t call a TO at the end.

Hawkins still has a lot to work on.

It's just one game. But unfortunately now we really need two wins in the NCAAT for this to be considered a successful season to me. I said in September we needed 3 post-season wins, and I still feel the same way. Gets that much harder with another quick BET exit.

The defense was pretty bad. It tightened up at the end but it was bad most of the night.

Our ceiling in the tournament will be S16. Can't have F4 ambitions when Hawkins always has the chance to completely no show against some team. All our star championship guards balled out when it mattered most including Rip, BG, Kemba, Shabazz, Boat.

Missed A LOT of wide open shots and played terrible defense. Gave up a ton of wide open threes. Can’t happen against good teams.

You can’t take the timeout home. What on earth is Hurley thinking? Just terrible execution. Hawk and AJax didn’t step up when we needed them. They were both very, very poor. We just don’t have a killer instinct.

Missed shots down the stretch, had clean opportunities, but couldn’t convert. Not a good game overall and only lost by 2, I guess that’s the bright side. Disappointing.

Team played hard as hell. Hawkins was passive and out of rhythm most of the game. Jackson was a non-factor.

Different game same story. Tight tight tight. No composure in tight spots. Said yesterday Karaban is the guy to take the must-make shot. Got dragged. Think he made two of them tonight, Hawk had several chances and becomes spastic. Joey C had several clean looks late. We have to start making some of those. Frustrating.

No shame in losing to Marquette. Our 3 starting perimeter players played poorly. Joey missed 2 open looks. Would have liked a TO on last possession, especially without Andre pushing the ball and finding the open man.
