It was all about poor execution down the stretch.Joey missed 2 wide open 3's. That ain't execution. I would have liked a TO at the end though.

Prosper is 6’8 and long.really tough matchup for him. Impossible to get Hawkins open when no one can penetrate to kick.Yes but the guy that is supposedly one of the best shooters in the country, averages 17ppg cannot have a performance like this. And in the beginning when he wasn’t hitting you could tell he didn’t have the right mentality. He also is pretty much only a 3 point shooter, if he learned how to use a head fake, he’d help himself out a lot. Just not nearly good enough from your star.
Spin what? We’re a good team who lost to a good team. There’s things we could’ve done differently sure. But you chicken littles are the worst part of the boneyard. It’s so predictable. Salute to Marquette they played an incredible offensive game. Kolek is a guySpin this one. You’re pretty good at it
Agreed. This had zero to do with Hurley. Those players were put in a position to succeed . They didn’t.Tired of posters saying it’s bad coaching. I saw so many lazy plays by us throughout and no communication. That’s not Hurley’s fault. I know you guys saw it when he grabbed Sanogo and Newton and said, what the duck are you guys doing?. They seemed tired from yesterday, just low energy.
You can't tell me that a few of those Marquette shots weren't what most people call luck...Maybe it’s not luck…..
Actually he's not, he's insufferable and nothing he posts makes senseSo are you
Agreed run a play Dan! I would have run one for Alex as he is only one that wants the rock during cruch time! Why wasn't a TO called?
Needed. Ben Garden tonightOur ceiling in the tournament will be S16. Can't have F4 ambitions when Hawkins always has the chance to completely no show against some team. All our star championship guards balled out when it mattered most including Rip, BG, Kemba, Shabazz, Boat.
I would have had Alleyne in for Newton or Hawk.Joey in at end and not Alleyne is baffling. Joey missed 4 straight threes.
They got up into his air space and was physical with him from the tip and it threw all the way off2-11
And as of right now we don't have that guy for next year either.Big problem all year is not having a guy who can regularly beat his guy off the dribble. Showed up again down the stretch tonight. Marquette is really good, but they played a great game on offense, hit some ridiculous shots, and yet it was a 2 point game at the end.
We came up empty the last 5 trips, and that sealed it. The one that stood out was I think our 3rd to last possession and Sanogo had sealed his guy and was all alone inside, and we missed him.
No, he just kept going there knowing he would be hammered. And rarely a foul call.
He needs to look for his shot rather than pass first. We need 8-10 per game game from him!Karaban not enough shots. Not sure why...but he was the guy who needed to carry this game.
And he didn’t use a head fake once from what I saw. All he wants is the 3.Prosper is 6’8 and long.really tough matchup for him. Impossible to get Hawkins open when no one can penetrate to kick.
Infuriating
Agreed. We lost to the #6 team in the country, not St JohnsYes.
Don't get why we didn't see DC again. No player fears Sanogo when he's on defense. Hurley could even have put both of them out there for a bit. Would like to know the +/- differential was when DC was on the floor.
Yes, we should all be content with mediocrity.Actually he's not, he's insufferable and nothing he posts makes sense
Let’s not get hasty. @UConnSwag11 knows CBB very well.Actually he's not, he's insufferable and nothing he posts makes sense
