If all these Big 12 players know that the "roly poly guy under the basket, 2 rows back", at Texas Tech, has a mouth, and knows how to use it, how has Ford missed out on that important tidbit?

This was already posted earlier in the thread but hasn't garnered much discussion. While I don't really care about this whole situation and imagine it's mostly all over the place because it happens to involve one of ESPNs gem players this year (I doubt Shabazz could shove someone and get this much attention), it really does sound like "you piece of crap!"

If this apparent audio is the extent of what this guy said, it's interesting to see how quickly everybody jumped to conclusions about what he said based on the fact that it's a an older white Texan talking to black student. Of course even calling Smart a piece of crap isn't classy, but (again assuming that's all he said) I think the most grievous act committed is the wrongly confident conclusion jumping done by a lot of third parties.
