March Madness Day 1 Thread

In every one of my brackets I have PC winning. A lot of time the popular upset pick doesn’t materialize. I don’t have data for this. I am just speaking anecdotally
 
C'mon Memphis. Really rooting for that matchup against Zags. Game of the week for me (not counting any of ours). Haven't watched a ton of Memphis, but I have no faith in them in this first game. Seems like a team that needs a good opponent to play with any motivation. Boise State doesn't seem like that opponent.

PC just missed like 6 shots on one possession. Their shot selection is pretty bad for a team of veterans. They need to be careful because SDSU could hit 3-4 threes and make this close again

Yeah that Zags won’t fear playing Memphis or anyone for that matter.That is not what I was trying to say. But if they had a choice they would rather play Boise State

So this is technically a comment from Day 0 but the Rutgers and Notre Dame game last night was really close.

SDSU is not winning this game, but PC's crazy shot selection is going to end its season.

Yeah that's what I meant. I doubt they will but Memphis definitely has the talent to beat Gonzaga.

weirdly, it actually coincides almost perfectly with penny's unhinged rant.

also coincides with bates leaving the program, though. dude was having a brutal season.

Happened as soon as Emoni Bates got hurt. Fully expecting them to lose the 1st game he plays in now that he's available again
 
Colorado St shot better from 3 than 2. Didn't watch enough of the game to say if it was good D by Michigan or bad O from Colorado St.

Emoni Bates was one of the worst players in D1. He was actively detrimental to the team.
 
SDSU has not one guy who can beat his man off the dribble. They’re a diet way less smart version of Nova.

Can't believe Emoni Bates is in this game. Hit a three right away though. We'll see how it works out!

CSU was way outclassed on the interior. They were living or dying by the 3, until the ammo ran out,
