"Failure to affix a tax stamp" is some Revolutionary War stuff, come on
Since it was a pound and was purchased illegally, Holloway is facing felony charges. This isn’t some kid in Wilton getting caught with a grinder and a joint. Should be an interesting week for Nate Oates.

News reports one pound- state not getting their financial cut -although I am guessing Marijuana not legal in AL
From what I've read, Alabama is one of the few states that still thinks weed is a bad drug. Not just that they haven't legalized, but they treat it seriously. If this wasn't a Bama athlete, a pound of weed and cash would be a serious issue because it's most likely intent to distribute. It was also a narcotics task force that did the investigation so I can't imagine that Holloway was just smoking all of the weed.

I'd be shocked, however, if anything comes of this until Bama is done in the tournament. Oats has shown zero interest in enforcing rules or even the spirit of rules. I'd be floored if Holloway even misses the first game.

If Brandon Miller can be an accomplice to a murder and still play in the NCAA Tournament, this case will be charged as a misdemeanor and swept under the rug.

Not even close to what happened, ESPN did such a poor job reporting that story and that's what got boosted instead of local media that actually used security footage to piece the story together

.-.
We don't have a height problem but we do have an athleticism problem and only having one guy who can create and take people off the bounce. St. John's athleticism and physicality gave us all sorts of problems in our two losses against them, they played up on our guys and forced a bunch of turnovers in both games. Marquette did the same thing to us and we turned it over a bunch.
What happened when we beat them by 30?
