Yesterday as part of their basketball video the Hoops Central guys passed a note claiming there are reports UConn is still in on Janiah Barker. I haven't seen any news on Barker of any kind in months so grain of salt here maybe.

Saturday (3/6) was senior day for Nobles and Greenough. Video is set to Caroline being honored. She didn't play the last 5 minutes of the first half, the last 2-1/3 of the third quarter or the last 6+ minutes of the game.

Man, that range is effortless. And not many kids will dribble into a 3 like that. You can set NBA deep screens for her to come off if necessary.

I read Ayanna Patterson actually had a much older brother who played 2 yrs at UCLA before transferring to UTenn.

Caroline is at least 4' past the line when she releases. She's in Crystal Dangerfield territory.

Re: Patterson or any other recruit that wants to be one of the "best of the best," in game minutes is important but not the only factor. With each league rarely having more than 2-3 strong teams, player's development is strongly influenced by practice time. Few in the country have such a deep team as UConn. Patterson's growth would expand every day playing against top talent, versus 2nd string or practice players. When you see the WNBA All Star and Olympic Team line ups, UConn's coaching must not be too bad either.

Nice tall player and basketball skilled for her size. The problem is I've been watching EDD since she was 12 and winning AAU national championships with Caroline Doty. I don't see a comparison even when I squint really really hard.

Agree - EDD at a very young age was such a smooth pure shooter, all extraneous motion was banished from her shooting motion.

I hope not. Olson at espn has question her work ethic twice now. Not UCONN material in effort IMO. Barker or Gardnier for a forward in that class or just Ice.
