March 17 Non-UConn games thread

We are getting the Duke/Belmont game here in SC...Duke looked like they were going to pull away early but Belmont has made it a 16-14 game, end of 1st quarter.

Central Michigan up on LSU, 23-14.
 
Belmont just nailed a THREE to take a 31-28 lead on Duke.
 
LSU on a huge run...Central Michigan leads 40-38.

Florida State rolling over Arkansas-Little Rock, 51-30.
 
Halftime scores:

Florida State leading Arkansas-Little Rock, 53-30.

Central Michigan leading LSU, 40-38.

Duke leading Belmont, 32-31.

For all the Tenn Holly Haters, take a long hard look at the CMU/LSU games as Farkis is showing you exactly who she is as a coach, mediocre at best. Holly is better, now I am not saying she’s good by any stretch, but the issue is there is no one from the Summitt Tree that can run the LV program with one possible exception-Micki DeMoss, who. Is probably too long in the tooth and has her own personal baggage that would probably prevent her from being a head coach again (and is also an assistant on this same underachieving LSU team) but is a quality basketball mind.
The school should/will have to look outside of the program to truly find a quality coach to exceed what even the pedestrian Holly has done.

Three games I would like to watch in the next time slot. USF, Quinnipiac and GW. Uurgh. At least, in wrap around, the percentages are in my favor.

One of the questions that should be asked is, will this be McGuff's final NCAA appearance with Ohio State? Will this be his final NCAA appearance ever?

At the Columbus site...I like that they have the team logos in front of the scorers' table. I wish they would do that at all the sites.
 
Tell you what. That Cummings for Jen's team is a baller.
 
Interesting...we are getting the Ohio State/GW game here in SC...and not Georgia/Merer, although I am only about 80 miles from Athens.

If I may ask, why are you asking this? I agree he may have underachieved or may have been overrated at the beginning of the season as his teams sole true talent has been Mitchell. He did win the Big10, is a hosting team and will beat an average GW team, Our beloved Jen not with standing. Do you think the administration would fire him?

Darn it...I wanted to watch this game on ESPN2. Guess I'll have to log on to the computer to watch it.
