Malachi Smith on official visit today

I think I had seen 2 clips from him in the past - the aforementioned one and another where he seemed to think Tarris was the biggest scrub in the universe.
He was 0-2 on UConn last year. I stopped tuning in.

This might be one of those cases where starting and a lot of PT isn't his priority. If they were, why wouldn't he stay at Dayton. If he's realistic, he knows the NBA isn't in his future, that he likely wouldn't start on an upper D1 team, that there isn't some huge NIL package out there for him (unless Pitino lies), and if he wanted to start the best he'd probably do is a middling or lower tier P5 that may or may not make the tourney.

Or he could be a key backup on a top tier team that can contend for a championship, and one that was his dream school where his idol went.

I think the choice is easy.

When is the last time we had a 5+ assist a game PG?

When is the last time we didn't?
'23 if you don't round. And a lot of years in a row before that. The new Hurley offense juices assists, but the previous Hurley era and Ollie era...

Jalen Adams was previous before Newton+Diarra.

This shouldn't have taken 3 posts, it should have been the first one after the question answered by everybody.

Correction: it should never have been a question.
I thought he meant before this season, I’d hope he didn’t forget Diarra existed after a month.
