I think I had seen 2 clips from him in the past - the aforementioned one and another where he seemed to think Tarris was the biggest scrub in the universe.

This might be one of those cases where starting and a lot of PT isn't his priority. If they were, why wouldn't he stay at Dayton. If he's realistic, he knows the NBA isn't in his future, that he likely wouldn't start on an upper D1 team, that there isn't some huge NIL package out there for him (unless Pitino lies), and if he wanted to start the best he'd probably do is a middling or lower tier P5 that may or may not make the tourney.

Or he could be a key backup on a top tier team that can contend for a championship, and one that was his dream school where his idol went.

I think the choice is easy.

The big thing was finding PGs that could play Big East basketball. Aiden is a fine guard, but the BE style did not fit with his game.

Malachi has a lot of the skills that translate well into the BE. He would be an awesome get. I hope the crew can lock him in .
