Luke Murray and BC?

Listen, I love the guy and I feel like he's way more responsible for our 2 titles than he probably gets credit for or that we actually know about.

That said? Not every offensive or defensive coordinator in the NFL is a good head coach. I say NFL because they don't really have those designated positions in NCAA hoops, but in essence, he's like our OC. We know he can recruit. We know he's an X and O wunderkind. We don't really know anything else at all about him....and he's stepping into a blazing dumpster if he goes to BC. It would be a great story if he can reclimate them.....but the chance of him failing there is even bigger considering the situation and the unknowns about the rest of him.
"reclimate?"

Hodgson would be more of an issue at PC than anyone at BC. Boston College is a knife in a gunfight.

Boston College is a coach killer. Last three guys at CoC moved up. (Ironically, Grant moves to BC.) Last four guys at Boston College fell into the abyss. Bad admin, bad investment, no fans.
But the results from CoC was fired for abuse, mid major, BC, and Louisville. So the median outcome of CoC ... is still a job like BC with years of worse earning power making CoC salary instead of BC salary.

CoC is a massively different job in the NIL era than pre-NIL. They have a significant NIL advantage over anyone else in the CAA (rumored to be up to 2x). I’m not sure anyone pre-Kelsey is a great bellwether.

And yet they weren't that good this year and Mack left for a mid major job.

I think CofC would be a good spot for Luke. I thought so last year, too. But it's not a slam dunk to take it over a high major opportunity.

.-.
It will always be BCU to me and many others.

The hatred for that school is well known, and BCU is like a hemorrhoid on New England's backside

I imagine a lot of people don’t know the origin story - when they jumped to the ACC, the official ACC website actually welcomed “Boston College University” to their league. So they’ve been BCU to us ever since.
