Luke Murray and BC?

Where did you find that? I was just going off of AI saying they sold out some Garden home games this season and averaged 17,000 fans at their MSG home games last season.

I went game by game from the box scores on the game books on the SJU athletics website.

Knight's big takeaway advice was to go to the state flagship school, not the privates.
Correct. He was advised by Bobby Knight to go to a "University of" school.

Anyone else surprised Luke got picked up before kimani (though that can happen in the coming weeks).

Feels like a few years ago there was much more buzz around kimani than luke

I think Kimani's past has hurt him. I don't think it's fair but I've heard this more than once.
I don't think he was interviewed for either FIU or Minnesota openings. He was with Richard Pitino for five years, so he should've at least made it a list of candidates for one of those jobs.

It's too bad that things like his arrest don't go away after almost 30 years as he's been a model citizen since that time.

Yep, it's unfortunate. He's a much better coach and much better person than a lot of these guys who get head coaching gigs at legit schools.

I would think the assistants get bonus incentives for advancing further into NCAAs. So Murray still wants to win financially, and have Bill Murray in the stands a bit longer.

If he's signed a contract with BC, he should not be on UConn's bench. I've loved him, but actions have consequences. He's no longer a Husky.

Yes! How dare he not risk his career for us. And now that he hasn’t, he is forever the enemy! Huzzah!

Best of luck to him, but I think this is the wrong job. I don't believe BC is committed to athletics. $6 million in NIL when schools in the ACC are spending $10-12 million isn't getting it done. I also don't like him recruiting in our backyard.

Boston College is a crap job, especially if College of Charleston was going to be an option, cuz from there he could've gone into the Big Ten, SEC or hell, the top half of the ACC.

BC got themselves a steal here.

Good for Luke. If he was truly the offensive mastermind, then he deserves endless praise in our transformation from a very boring offensive team to a dominant one. I don’t think we win titles without Luke’s sets.

While BC has been a disaster, I still think it’s a better first job then going mid-major and being an AAA team for the power conferences. Hopefully he gets enough NIL and can bring in his guys and beat Puke twice a year.
