Luke Murray’s Replacement

My latest guess is that maybe their first choice backed out. Maybe a money issue? Maybe someone used us to get more where we they are? This seems to be breaking the normal pattern.
i thought our guys were very highly paid as assistants. Maybe current employer ponied up? Happens all the time in biz...

I think this board would have a collective meltdown if we tried to implement some of his ideas here. Half the board barely accepts 3 point shooting
They barely accept a 6'8" 3-point shooting 4, that's for sure.

may have to find a Hurley replacement as well. anybody see that post on Threads about Hurley negotiating with an NBA team (again) for around 80mil? wish he'd quit doing this. i don't think he's easily replaceable.
The source of that also posted:
NEWS: UConn coach Dan Hurley is forced to wear a grenade attached to his chest for tonight’s championship game vs Michigan.
The grenade will detonate if Hurley’s voice exceeds a decibel limit or can be manually triggered by a referee.

But he saw it on threads, it must be true

You're saying this didn't happen?

Some people shouldn't be allowed on the internet.

twits.. what do you want me to do vet the guy? do a full background check before i quote what he said? there was no reason to suspect that it was BS.
There was no reason to suspect it was BS that Dan Hurley - who previously turned down the LA Lakers and is currently busy filling out his roster for next season - was negotiating a deal (apparently under the non-threads radar) to leave for an NBA team ?!?

There was also no reason to suspect it that it was true.

You don’t need to vet this guy. Just click on his profile…

Could this be the reason why the posting was extended? Perhaps he decided to stay at Alabama, and UConn had to reopen the posting. Just a thought.
Seems pretty obvious that's what happened....Bama didn't just randomly give him a 50% pay raise...

If that’s a serious question I will give you a polite answer that should apply to everyone. I would prefer that your rule not be “I’ll quote it unless I know there is something wrong with the original post” but “I won’t quote it unless I have some reason to trust the original post or poster.” When one does the former, you are providing economic incentive for clowns to post made up crap.
