Danielle Ballard for LSU can play. Unfortunately, she's not getting much help. Lots of fouls on LSU, though they are beating the LV's on the boards (24-18). From where I sit the only outside threat the LV's have is Simmons (4 of 4 this game but 28% on the year from 3) and you know what will happen against UConn.

UT would be dominated inside by UConn and I just don't see how they would score enough points to keep a game close.
LSU is beating UT inside on the LV's home court ! UT would get run over by UConn.

LSU almost lost an insurmountable lead.
Izzy Harrison showed a lot of poise (no one else did)
But the coach and Simmons t'd up on a foul…they made 5 out of 6
And no matter that they couldn't inbound the ball, still couldn't lose the whole lead.

Great way to make a good first impression. Parkers number retired, A'ja Wilson there and Tenn comes back and loses LSU 80-77. Its a little early but this may be the start of something good for UConn fans because this just might have cost Tenn a one seed in the NCAAs. Great way to start the New Year if your a UConn fan.

This is the LSU team that lost to Louisville by 21 and NC State by 10? Yikes...
