Louisville or Michigan?

Michigan. I want Warde to be happy for his Alma Mater and also for our Lady Huskies who will play and win tonight. Warde in a good mood will help his psyche and ego going forward as he helps us grow. Michigan and UConn winning will put a smile on his face and a spring in his step. Kind of like "smiling Bob"in those Enzyte commercials.

I want Michigan. All reasons given are shallow, including mine. Of the many teams of their stature in football, they were nice enough to give us a home and home. Besides, LV game is too much clutch and grab for my liking. Go Blue!

Karen Sypher and I will be rooting for Michigan.

Seems likely that someone on Louisville will lose the game by dribbling off his leg.

Michigan so Cuse can dwell on the what-ifs of losing to the eventual champion.

I get cut off from my grandchildren if I don't root for the Maize and Blue. I'm ony excused if the Huskies are involved. And I have the Ville in a big pool, with zero chance to win I have so many other misses. So no reason not to root for UM.

Once teams make it to the Final Four, there are no additional credits to be earned - all of the Final Four teams earned about $10M (paid out over six years). There's no additional credit for advancing to the title game.
Well then still Michigan and only with no momentary pause before picking them.

Go Wolverines! My close cousin's son is a frosh at Michigan so yeah go blue! I've got to hang with them and enjoy her great turkey spread next Thanksgiving. I do the carving.

Michigan! UNLESS: next season will be magical for UConn and the team propels itself into a number one seed by beating the semen out of RP's team next year on the way to getting that one seed. Then I might think about it.

Just thought about it. Go Michigan.

My brackets got shot every which way to hell early on, yet I somehow managed to end up with Louisville and Michigan in the finals. For what it's worth, I picked Louisville to beat Michigan by 12. I'd actually rather see Michigan win, but all of the dogs in this fight are not mine. I'll watch, but not root for either.

Michigan because of Beilein. He is a fantastic strategist and might be able to find away to pull off the upset. He is the type of coach you would want your son to play for, maybe that is why they have so many players who are the sons of former pros. He is well respected for his coaching and seems to have class. Pitino is a hell of a coach, but class is not a word I would associate with him.

Not really bothered either way. Hoping for a good game.

I really dont possess much hatred for Louisville. They did what they had to do during CR and have built a very formidable athletic department. ACC had an opening and they along with UConn and Cincy lobbied for an invitation. They didn't backstab like BC and Pitt. Or totally trash the conference the've been members of for 3 decades like SU fans. They are also not a bunch of lucky sh!ts that have done absolutely nothing for the conference like Rutgers.

Although I had Louisville in my bracket to take it all, I'll be rooting for Michigan since daughter graduated from Michigan Law. GO BLUE!

Michigan, Michigan, Michigan and then Michigan.

Anyone who roots for Louisville should be chased from their homes and punched in the throat.

This sums it up for me.

Are you kidding? When it was obvious we were the choice they jumped up and down and screamed "pick me". I have no doubt that negative recruiting was involved as well, which means trashing UConn behind the scenes.

Geez there are some very good arguments for me changing my loyalties this evening and going with the Big Blue.............almost making feel guilty about saying Louisville!! LOL

Are you talking about conference here? Because I wish UConn would have done the same. Who cares about sportsmanship in conference realignment. Whatever gets you a seat at the table.

Ok, but imagine Louisville was a person doing this? You'd hate their guts for being such a low rent, low class, shameless self-promoter. I find those people intolerable. They remind me of a sleezy, slimy, lying politician, overselling their qualifications. Plenty of them get elected. The fact that it worked, mostly due to the influence of the other "dumb jock" in the conference, FSU, doesn't change how I feel about them.

fwiw, I think it helps having the NC in our diminished conference next year. And the Ville games might well be the only two conference games worth getting worked up about. So for those reasons, I'm going for Ville.

I had picked LVille in a pool so I can't go against that pick now. Alhough I won't be upset if they don't win.

Pre tourney, I had Louisville as hoisting the championship trophy. That all changed a week ago on Friday night as the Wolverines started to dictate terms & won after being way behind.
