Louisville lost today...so did Tenn.

.-.
UCLA at #8 about to join the hit parade.
UTenn was pretty miserable today according to their fans (who should know)

Road play in the SEC and ACC has always caused problems. We forget because Uconn is consistently good road and home (even with their stumbled at Arkansas this year.) TN home is a very different beast than TN on the road.

Knock on wood. Kiss the rabbit's foot. Rub the Blarney Stone. Should be no debate whatsoever that UConn is playing the best in WCBB. I wish they had Baylor, Miss St, and Louisville on their resume, but as they say, all you can do is play who's in front of you.
Geno IMO is painting a masterpiece. He sees the potential of his team and how the pieces fit together. He's even trying things and giving players opportunities to contribute. IMO the #1 thing that they have done to perfection this year (knock on wood) is deal with our Covid world. You can see his exhaustion but the program's expectations from Day 1 have been to take it one day at a time and take it as it comes. Then the leadership among the players that is cultivated at UConn does the rest, which includes the consistency and excellence of the new phenom.

So maybe that DePaul loss to Creighton is not as bad as it seems considering some of the losses today. Creighton could do no wrong when it came to shooting yesterday, while DePaul had their worst shooting game this season. As they Stuff happens and it did against DePaul.

Wow, Ten has almost as many rebounds as points in this game, not an easy feat.

Not Miss State... you probaby would be better off having Ole Miss on the resume... Southern Miss... Mississippi Valley State..etc..

True, but the matchup was in a November tournament. Besides we still owe them a good thumping!

During the Arkansas at LSU halftime show on SECN, Charlie Creme has SoCar and Texas A&M as 1 seeds. They only showed his SEC picks so I am guessing either NC State or Stanford is joining UConn as the other 1 seeds.

Charlie can’t quit the SEC.
Next weekend SoCar and TAMU meet in their only scheduled conference matchup (funny with all the SEC postponements and cancelations that the two best teams couldn't play twice) and then will probably meet in the conference tournament so something might give...

We're seeing how important it is to have good guard play, good defense, a go to player and rebounding. UConn has improved alot in those areas and everybody is a good passer and good ball handler. We just might the whole thing this season .

Hailey Van Lith is not playing well in Louisville. She should come to Uconn and play with Paige.

Concur with you @MSGRET

SC has 3 losses....but some continue to think they deserve a #1 seed. 1 loss A&M continues to win and 2 loss NC State has beaten both SC and Louisville. Both deserve attention.
Still more BB to be played that could change the entire landscape. "Stay Tuned"
A&M and SC play each other soon, and perhaps again in a conference tournament. whichever team impresses there will likely be a number 1 seed. Louisville and NC state could play in a conference tournament and Stanford potentially against a team that could beat them. Uconn is the rare top seed that on paper doesn't potentially face a serious threat before the national tournament with a number 1 seed virtually assured.

No room at the inn. Spot reserved
Geno generally likes to take his picks from the cradle but times are a changing with new transfer rules shortening the time to development winning programs. It isn't unusual to have Jr's now leaving for the pros, look at Stevens and Walker for us. Each year will require a new look for the coaches. Were mimicking the men's programs.
