OK - so Williams/Price knew well ahead of time what they were going to do was against the law. I reallt doubt EW went into the siuation with a preplanned notion that he was going to physically harm a female.Arrrg
I hate it when fans from other schools come and spew this nonsense, but it really irks me when UConn fans can't get this right and don't understand the difference.
They didn't steal anything. They tried to help sell stolen stuff. It's a huge difference to break in and decide to steal things and going along with helping to get rid of stolen stuff. Both are wrong - one is a planned intentional act and one is a reactionary act.
name calling is ridiculous just as using action words as "agressive" when you were not ther to witness - I don't care what reports say - overpaid sate employed rentacops exaggerate tooThe guy who likes to call people as on message boards really needs to stop making excuses for aggressively putting hands on women.
I was talking about Perspective. Aggressive is an action word though? Like a verb?name calling is ridiculous just as using action words as "agressive" when you were not ther to witness - I don't care what reports say - overpaid sate employed rentacops exaggerate too
I'm in no way excusing Williams and Price - they were clearly wrong and deserved to suffer the consequences. I was just making the point that it bothers me when UConn fans get it wrong in terms of what they actually did. Not agreeing on which is worse is mostly a matter of opinion, but in my mind, they committed a much less serious crime than stealing. Still stupid and still need to be accountable.OK - so Williams/Price knew well ahead of time what they were going to do was against the law. True, they MAY have not committed the larceny (there is still doubt due to rumors) but they knew the larceny was committed and were abetting the crime and profiting.
Shoving (not punching - that is different) someone in an emotional state is far less severe - be it male or female
I don't care if EW comes back or not - but I am not one here to put his feet to the fire when I myself prayed that Williams/Price would return
THAT WOULD BE STUPID
No I woulda kicked both off the team. For good.Did you give Williams and Price a free pass Jerry?
nevermind -you went past the point - grammer lessons not needed - I know you were addressing PerspectiveI was talking about Perspective. Aggressive is an action word though? Like a verb?
HITTING YES I AGREENo I woulda kicked both off the team. For good.
I also put hitting a women as worse then stealing a laptop. So that tells where I stand on wolf.
You sure they're not needed? I have no idea what that last word is.nevermind -you went past the point - grammer lessons not needed - I know you were addressing Perspective
his argument, no matter how he makes it has merit based on compaeatives
Exactly, if he didn't hit or throw her to the ground the we can talk. If he did either of those I hope he is goneHITTING YES I AGREE
Did he hit? we don't know
???? So I'm on your target list because of the SC statement?Source?
My understanding is that the GF asked him to leave and he wouldn't. That makes it a criminal trespass. The cops wouldn't "ask" him to leave, in any case. She'd say, "he hit me" and the cuffs would be on before you could say, "farfehgnuggen."
I want him back regardless of what happened. We're not running a sissy factory here, and at the end of the day, if the GF has forgiven him, who are you not to?
Just for the uninformed, I have been taken to task by Perspective in a different post and this is a carryover. Perspective, any of us can be tough if push comes to shove! I'm no different. I'll defend my position unless it becomes indefensible. My opinions are not my alter egos. They are only a snapshot of events. I'm flexible. But when someone such as yourself chooses to engage me, I have no problem defending myself.Who are you to ask me who I am to ask you who you are?And who are you to ask me who am I.

I'm not with you, I'm 'kn greatest f in the world. So f off! That's who!Who are you to ask me who I am to ask you who you are?

Worse than you think.
I want him back whatever she thinks.
Guy was drunk and passionate and shoved her. Meh. I could care less. It's the wee-wee metrosexual, PC, pussified world we live in where this gets turned into the guy is a serial abuser.
If he punched some dude in a bar fight and broke his eye socket, he'd get more support than he is getting for shoving his girl.
Why is that? Some archaic notion that shoving a woman is somehow worse than aggravated assault on a man? Silly. Sexist. Needs to be buried.
The assessment should always be gender independent. What were the sizes/strengths of the two parties? How much force was used? What damage was done?
He shoved her and her glasses fell off. Please. Call me when he actually "hits" somebody and leaves a mark.
I merely pointed out that, if she has no issue with it, why should anybody else? Are you implying that she is too stupid or weak to properly assess what happened?
Frank Ivy everybody, fantasy world, Internet toughguy extraordinaire.
compaRativesYou sure they're not needed? I have no idea what that last word is.
