Hope everything works out, welcome him back!! (just no hitting women or touching them in a forceful way, we'll have to have Fishy punch him in the throat)

If he's guilty I dont want him back
For me it's a qualified maybe on the guilty verdict. It would depend on what he is really guilty of doing. We know for sure he didn't leave when the campus police asked him to leave. At least that was what was reported. Only then did they book him for hitting the girl. It seems if he struck her, and the campus police knew that, they wouldn't have given him the option to leave. They would have booked him right away.

If the girl maintains the story and he's found guilty then I'd prefer UConn and EW go their separate ways.

Totally depends on what he is guilty or not guilty of. Let's wait for the facts before passing judgement. If he's guilty of being stupid at 5am in something that is not a huge deal, why wouldn't you want him back. Most everyone, particularly 20 year old college kids, deserves a second chance.

I definitely tend toward the idea of let's see what the circumstances are before throwing someone away.

If Coach Ollie reviews the facts and feels that Wolf is ten toes in (repentant of what he did and ready to turn a new leaf), then I will certainly welcome his back as well

If Wolf does come back, we'll see a frontcourt log jam, the likes of which we haven't seen since the Okafor/Boone/Tooles/Armstrong/Villanueva days.

Pretty obvious that he has been placed along with the gfriend in the diversionary domestic violence program, so his incident will be expunged after 6 mos or a year. Also the duo are not under a full protective order. He can contact unlike Nate who got burned by a phone call.

..let he who is without guilt cast the first stone.

I don't think Ollie is one to ignore anything serious. Let's let the legal process work itself to an conclusion and then we can decide what to do.

IF, and that's a big if, he's guilty of hitting that girl, I personally wouldn't want him back. However, I trust KO and will support whatever decision he makes with regards to Wolf.

Source?
My understanding is that the GF asked him to leave and he wouldn't. That makes it a criminal trespass. The cops wouldn't "ask" him to leave, in any case. She'd say, "he hit me" and the cuffs would be on before you could say, "farfehgnuggen."

I want him back regardless of what happened. We're not running a sissy factory here, and at the end of the day, if the GF has forgiven him, who are you not to?

So IF he did strike her; it's ok with you, as long as she's ok with it. I want to make sure I'm not misinterpreting what you are saying?

Don't forget we had the Tracy Thurman case here in CT years ago. I think now if the police are called, someone has to be removed. Happened to a friend of mine years ago. The spouse was pissed and went across the street to the neighbors, and somewhere in there, was convinced to call the cops. My friend gets removed. There was no assault. But that's the way it works now.

in CT, any physical contact at all during domestic dispute (argument) is domestic assault

if he grabbed her hand and said "why" to her, it's domestic assault

if he hit her and there were visible injuries, I think we might know that by now

I'm waiting for the facts

Worse than you think.
I want him back whatever she thinks.
Guy was drunk and passionate and shoved her. Meh. I could care less. It's the wee-wee metrosexual, PC, pussified world we live in where this gets turned into the guy is a serial abuser.

If he punched some dude in a bar fight and broke his eye socket, he'd get more support than he is getting for shoving his girl.

Why is that? Some archaic notion that shoving a woman is somehow worse than aggravated assault on a man? Silly. Sexist. Needs to be buried.

The assessment should always be gender independent. What were the sizes/strengths of the two parties? How much force was used? What damage was done?

He shoved her and her glasses fell off. Please. Call me when he actually "hits" somebody and leaves a mark.

I merely pointed out that, if she has no issue with it, why should anybody else? Are you implying that she is too stupid or weak to properly assess what happened?

There is no evidence that he "hit" anyone. It's clear he showed some poor judgment, like many or most do during their time in college or otherwise. I think it is important that the situation is looked at by people with real information and make judgements that are balanced and fair based on precedents, not public relations concerns or how sick we are of problems in the basketball program. I remember the debates about the punishments for AJ Price. I think that the process worked out pretty damn well, with him appearing to grow as a person and become a great representative of UConn. It sounds like Enosch's life has been greatly impacted already. I hope he learns from the experience so that he never acts like that again. Does he deserve a second chance? I don't know the extent of what really happened, but I think he deserves to not be convicted and sentenced by people without a fair process.

I for one don't want him back. I liked the way Nolan progressed during the season and if KO can find a talented FR then Wolf would be a spare parts role player anyway. If he hit a girl, then he can hit the road.

He'll probably get some form of AR in court where his record is expounged after a period of time. But, no matter what happens in court, his UConn playing/student fate lies with the University board of review. They were the ones who determined (correctly) that Nate Miles had to go.

Agree to disagree. Never a reason to get physical with a female.
How about with a male? Is there a situation where it's okay to land the first shove/punch/hit against a male?

BTW - I consider thieving to be far worse than shoving a girl. We let two admitted thieves stay on the team, and I don't recall many fans complaining too loudly about that. Those two were involved in knowingly stealing personal computers from other UConn students and then attempting to fence the computers to pocket the money.
I'd much rather be friends with a guy who got drunk and shoved his girlfriend in a fit of passion than a guy who would, in full command of his faculties, steal.
