Live from Liberty vs Wings

Ha. Saniya covering Nurse briefly.

.-.
Butler just decked Nurse... Husky on Husky violence!

Welcome to the W......................Rook!! Looks like Nat has no intention of playing nice. Might she be trying
to impress the coaches early on, hoping to make the cut?!? Since Nat is so much bigger, the only way Kia can answer is with some retaliatory "face time". Bust several 3's right in her grill, or drive the lane on her for some and 1's. :D Some of these rosters are going to be hard to make, even for seasoned reserves. I sure wish these games were being televised. If you can, can you post the box score after the game?

Post edit..........I just signed up for the WNBA League pass for $16.99 today (May 7). The 3 games played today are available for replay.

Tina not on the bench to start the 2nd half. She was having some kind of medical issue at the end of the 1st half.

Kia having a better 2nd half... now has 8 pts.

Azura up to 17. Looks pretty good. :)

Stat lines of newbies. Pretty good. Saniya had good reb/assists-TO , steals and +/-.

Z made more 3pt shots in one game than all year at UConn.:). Played 30 minutes off the bench. More than UConn.

Kia apparently very aggressive 6-7 ft in 6 1/2 minutes. :)

Karlie Samuelson starting for the Sparks? That is interesting. :)

Edit: 3 fouls in 3+ minutes. :(

Saniya with a plus 23 had the best plus/minus in the game.

Natalie put up four shots in just under three minutes and made two. That's pretty efficient.

Great that Azura did so well. And it sounds like Nurse and Faris did alright too.

I hope Tina is alright.

I don't think she came back out at all after the first half.

Karlie had 14 points on 6-7 shooting, including 2-3 from the arc. As Geno and Doug Bruno say, it’s BASKET-ball. Put the ball in the basket. Karlie is very good at that.

Oh, how can I miss this game.
Anyone knows where is the replay? Thanks.

The pregame attention might have been on the Dallas Wings' new Australian center Liz Cambage, but it was rookie Azura Stevens who stole the show in the team's preseason opener.

Back in Connecticut three weeks after the Wings selected her out of UConn with the No. 6 overall pick in the WNBA draft, Stevens came a rebound short of a double-double in Dallas' 76-69 victory over the New York Liberty.

Where do you get the score board? I cannot find it at all ...thanks

There's something wrong with these stats. The minutes don't look right for some players and they don't even add up to 200.

Stevens looked loose and free flowing in those highlights. Quite frankly, she often looked stiff and unsure at UConn. Not sure what that means.

Gabby played 18 minutes, zero points and 2 turn overs. It must be first game jitters, because that's not the Gabby we know.
Azura Stevens sure didn't have any problems in her first game. She was 1 rebound shy of a double-double.
