Makes sense to start Diarra as a guard over Castle or Ball at this point. He's got more experience, and I'm sure Hurley is trying to inspire some drive in the freshmen to earn a starting role.

Hurley said he was going to divvy up minutes pretty equally and wasn't going to worry about lineups. I'm guessing he started Diarra as a nod to a returning player who played decent minutes last season.
