Lakers preparing offer for Hurley

I don't understand why they're letting a 40 year old make decisions for them. Nothing about it makes sense.

If Lebron was a 32 yr old it would make more sense Hiring the coach to get the player. Now…not so much.

The problem there is the leak of the contract offer. If Hurley wasn't their top target, what would they have done if he accepted the offer?

tbh after looking at all of the moving parts involved and with the way Shams and Woj were conducting themselves, none of that entire saga made any sense to me
