I suspect you're right, or even Napheesa, but if Lou can't play at all, Saniya gets minutes.I think Gabby would start over Chong.

At the start of the season which I think forced her to miss some practices and maybe one of the exhibition games, and then again in December when she passed out in the Colgate game.Really? When were the other times?
No need to exaggerate. She didn't pass out. She got dizzy. At the start of the season which I think forced her to miss some practices and maybe one of the exhibition games, and then again in December when she passed out in the Colgate game.
it's interesting to compare her with older sis. Karlie, though more slightly built, is mentally tough, but rarely drives the paint. Lou only in her first year takes the charges and invites contact on drives. Still needs work on rebounding, but that's timing and attention, not fear. She plays through pain, as do all the UConn players. Geno makes them.Lou may be a very pretty California beach girl, but she's also a tough dude.
Yeah I've forgotten she even had a knee brace. She's looking better than ever out there without it.OTOH, has anyone seen Morgan with that knee brace since around 10 games ago when she decided it wasn't comfortable? Looks like she's gained complete confidence.
At open practice. KLS is not practicing. Sitting on the bench.[/QUOTE
I hope Katie Lou gets well quickly!!!!!! She didn't look well in the Sweet16 but ok in the Elite 8. I just watched the Houston game again today---loved it. Slow down game Geno countered with Butler , Katie Lou, Gabby/ Collier, Moriah and Stewie. I suspected he'd use the same oversized back line with katie on the 3 point shooters. While she is desirable to have in any game. It would appear Gabby and Collier could fill in nicely--especially since Collier has been knocking in 3's in practice (per Geno)...
Congrats to Tuck on WCBA All American. Now we can all breath more freely--now Tuck will be hung (on the wall in a banner)

Don't kill the messenger I'm just stating what was reported by the horde/media today. Obviously why even report it if it's going to do nothing but cause speculation. So Lou was held out of open practice not feeling well. Was reported she was shooting just not full practice, then a tweet comes out saying likely game time decision look up in the thread. U got to love the media making things appear worse or not. Guess we will all see what happens tomorrow come game time.
Your post makes absoutely no sense!! This information was posted way before I even started a thread so thank u for your concern!! Didn't realize my opinion mattered!!!How do you even show your posts ??? Did you get approval before posting your OPINIONS?? If you haven't realized it before you must present your OPINION before the "IN" committee or the nitpickers naysayers--clucks--will have a field day with your posting...
Next time ask for permission!!!! But sometimes absolution is easier to obtain, after the fact!!!

I indeed get the impression you like Katie Lou.Katie does drive and attack the basket more freely and with abandon, unlike a Frosh or Soph or Jr or Even a Senior Bonnie, Karlie was better more recently--the Geno influence--but Lou is so far ahead of her sisters in Big time College Basketball development. If you haven't noticed Lou is doing a lot more basket hanging and rebounding when Stewie and Tuck allows....Did I mention I like Katie Lou??
Relax MikeyFrom reports this could be a very bad sign for the huskies. If she is indeed sick with something could it have been passed on to the team?? What effect will it have on tomorrow nights early game? We need Lou healthy and ready to go. First we are not a deep team. We really only go to Gabby and Colier. Most important Lou at 6'3 can stretch the D with her 3 point shooting. Not to mention last month she has been playing her best basketball. She is a starter for a reason. Talk about the worse time for this to happen. Not trying to sound negative but this doesn't sound to good. If she can't go tomorrow night this changes everything in my opinion. The game just got tougher if Lou can't go. And if she can't go at 100%.
Would anyone notice if KML slipped into the game wearing #33?
No doubt, but here's the box score from the TX game:There really isn't another 3-point shooter with whom to replace Lou.
Not a bad thought Alum......I like it.Never thought I would be rooting for food poisoning, but I am hoping that something she ate didn't agree with her and she will be all better tomorrow!
Hey Hoops, don't ya know Dr. Milford can't discuss a players condition and break the Doctor/patient Hippa laws!Really? When were the other times?
I'm sure they don't normally dine at Mickey D's or Burger King! Just missed seeing the team at an Outback Steakhouse one time at a Regional final, wouldn't call that a 5 star place. What are the restrictions on where they dine, etc?I wanna know where they dined last night and did KLS get adventurous with the menu. On an ESPN Kate Fagan radio show this AM they talked Soccer per diems and suddenly it was about UConn and how the UConn women don't scrimp by on per diems, but are use to 5 star dining on the road!
A lot of the different influenza strains don't really flourish in the West, or don't make it to the interior of the country. I can remember (after living in the Midwest for 6 years) when I moved back to the East Coast (New Haven) catching the flu over and over again that first winter. That could be what's going on: don't worry, after that first winter you usually catch up, but that first winter can be very stressful. So weather causes illness? Hmmm.
KLS is a tough kid....if she can walk I think she will play...if not Ms. Chong will hopefully get her chance to provide some additional 3 point shooting ..she sometimes seems to be at her best in important games like against Maryland earlier in the year...
NCAA randomly drug test about 10% of the student athletes in season against a know list of drugs.Does anyone know what the NCAA rules are on medications?
No doubt, but here's the box score from the TX game:
Texas vs. Connecticut - Box Score - March 28, 2016 - ESPN
Lou was 3-6 from 3; the rest of the team was 9-15.
OK here is a way out though to banter around. She is a Freshman and this is her first final Four (not her last either) maybe it is just a temporary case of nerves, which I am sure will be all gone come game time.![]()
