That's a really terrible story.

Baylor needs to take a long, hard look at: 1. recruiting; 2. how they mentor their football players. All college football teams (and I do mean everyone of them) develops a culture of us-against-the-world. That's unavoidable. But sensible coaches work with their teams to teach them consequences of anti-social behaviors. It doesn't work perfectly, by any means, but it works enough to do.

But it's perfectly safe to send your daughters to Baylor.

It's almost as if Briles deliberately recruited nothing but psychopaths because they make better football players. The strange thing about it is there were never any problems of this magnitude with his players at Houston.

I don’t need to sit in a meeting or be part of the investigation to know what’s happening on that campus and neither does anyone else. Its over? Its done? Maybe for you it is, but it will NEVER be over for the survivors. We don’t get to just decide one day to 'move on'. We are forever changed. We are never the same.
