I'm surprised Princeton is not on the list. I thought Northwestern might be on it too.

I don't think there is a single kid out there these days who doesn't release a list. Its just a normal part of the process and not the attention seeking thing it once was.

I'm not fond of it but I can see that it has value in cutting down the life interruptions from schools no longer on the list.

I held my breath until ONO announced her choice. After we lost Charli Collier to Texas, she was a MUST get. UConn is lucky to have her. She had several other options. I think she will blossom this year, and have an outstanding junior and senior year under the tutelage of Jamelle Elliott.

I can appreciate the sentiment behind this, however, do you know what her phone would be like on Sept. 1st if she didn't? Trust me, it's way too much for any kid to handle and still enjoy the process. I also don't find it to be showboating at all, I actually find it to be a courtesy to all the schools who can spend there time and resources elsewhere. One more thing, I have met her, she is as classy as she is athletic and if you have any knowledge of her athleticism then you know that is a very high compliment. Any school on this list is better with her on the roster.

Things could set up for her to walk right into a starting spot at Stanford, that along with Stanford being Stanford it could be hard for her to tune down.

No SEC or BIG 12 schools either.

I wonder how Carla's recruiting is going though? I haven't really seen Princeton on any top 100 player's list.

Based on where some of her family attended school and their accomplishments, I would think Duke and Stanford would be the leaders of the schools she's listed. Hard to see her choosing Boston College or Yale, unless she doesn't have a goal of winning a Basketball National Championship. Academics are obviously important, but also looks like she also has some dreams to achieve somethings in Basketball as well, thus Maryland, Louisville and UConn on her list. I am surprised Notre Dame is not on the list. Can't be geography as Michigan is on her list.

When you have these many names on a list, its relatively meaningless. While one or two schools may be getting the majority of her interest, just as likely that none have her focus and more will enter in the future.
