I always think of the original post about the 'badass' award and what it was supposed to celebrate - specifically not the POG, who at that time was being awarded by the announcers at the end of the game, but the player that added the bad in badass for the game. I think Allie/Sarah were clearly in contention for POG - Sarah because she was her usual spectacular self when all around her bricks were falling, and Allie for her stellar 11-15 career high and record tying performance. But ...
Ash and Kayleigh were clearly bringing the bad with their personal bests in steals, rebounds, and assists - combined they had 14 rebounds (4 off), 14 assists, and 12 steals while committing a single TO each. And that doesn't include the defensive pressure they applied that created 34 total TO, and only 22 points in the final 30 minutes after Xavier scored 17 points in the first 10, starting hot shoot 47% in the first Q. I don't much hold with +/- in individual games because in blow out wins it usually correlates to minutes played and Ash with 36 minutes is the leader in this game with a +52, but the second place finisher is Kayleigh with +44 with the 5th most minutes coming off the bench.
