I was tempted to give it to KK or Blanca, but I think Ash deserves it more with this line: 2 pts, 7 rebounds 5 assists 1 steal and a +/- of 39. And every one of those plays was totally scrappy. Classic Ash.

I second that emotion. Another reason I'm giving the BA to Ash is the there were a lot of held balls, and it seemed like Ash was involved in most of them. No one ripped the ball out of her hands. Ash always ends up ripping the ball out. That's BA. FYI the +/- 39 was the highest on the team. Not bad for a kid who only scored 2 points.

Sarah was Badass tonight (among others). In addition to her 24 pts/9 reb/4 assists she had 5 blocks and 3 steals.

I think KK set the tone for the game last night. However, I have no arguments against the other candidates. A case could be made for each of them.

KK is a much better player and Hidalgo doesn’t have as strong a supporting cast around her as last year (I.e. Olivia Miles)
