Kibitzer Memorial Badass Award

.-.
Paige. She went through stretches where it looked like she could get whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. I think she deferred a little bit too much, but still a great game.

Paige... with honorable mention to Ice Brady...she has been solid all 3 games.
I don't mind Sarah's treys...she will be fine from that region....keep taking them.
Despite some decent stats I thought she was a bit off compared to games 1 and 2...some
sloppiness not seen in prior games.

Even though she only shot 57% for the game 50% from the arc ;), the Badass has to go to Paige. She took control of the game early and managed UConn through the rough patches like a maestro leading a symphony.

My badass award goes to Paige and Sarah. Paige is simply the best. Sarah is special, and she is a baller. Sarah had a double-double with 6 assists and 5 blocks..she had an amazing game.

.-.
Paige for all the usual reasons. As a separate category, biggest bad ass not a player, Geno and CD for coaching so many winning games that they are tied for all time wins in college basketball, men's or women's, which is an amazingly bad ass thing to do.

Sara..how can you pick Paige when this is expected of her..this is Sara's first double double with a heck of a lot more to come

I’m with @HuskyFan1125: Ice.

It’s not about the stats, or the records. It’s about pure badassery on the court, and Ice had plenty of it tonight.

Honorable mention to Jana who was hampered by at least one bad whistle, maybe two, and that limited her minutes. But she brought the fire for as long as she was out there.

I’m gonna go out in left field but Ice Brady for me! Almost double double (9p 9r) and some
Nice defensive plays down the stretch.
BRADY is holding her own on the floor. Tonight almost a double=double . She is playing like she did when AAILYAH broke her nose and BRADY stepped with stellar play. She will be a force on Uconn in the future. GO BRADY!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!

Speaking from 40 years experience, it’s almost always the Maestro who causes the rough patches. Let’s call her the concert mistress

I agree about ICE.... and Jana's "PUT BACK" in the nerve-ranking 4th quarter had me jumping out of my chair.... critical timing for
that rebound and put back. NICE!

Geno, for getting on the player who gave up an uncontested shot at the end of the game. For always striving for more. And for modeling that for the rest of us humans.
Yeah, I was only 1 point from the MOV until that late 3 pointer. LOL

If I'm not mistaken, Chris Dailey has been present for more wins than Geno.
Probably true. If you don't award Geno with CD's wins, then he's still 17 wins short of Tara. CD has the best winning percentage among D1 coaches with 17 or more games, 1.000

Back to the BA: Paige!

.-.
Yeah - BadAss is supposed to honor the player who was a positive tough surprise as opposed to the MVP. Sounds like Ice to me. Played a really good game in the 'giving better than she got' category with the banging and clogging.

Would like to see this award getting back to its origins. :)

I'll go with Sarah
38 mins
14 pts
13 rebs
6 assists
5 blks
And only 1 foul
I'll take those numbers from one of our "bigs" every game
Sarah was very good, but this won't be the last game that UConn wins because we have Paige, and they don't. Seriously would we have won without Paige? What more do you have to do to be the BA?
