Yeah I'm with Tony. Ice had 6 TO's, but she played a career high in minutes and had a career high in scoring. As Geno said post game "Ice gets down on herself when she doesn't play well, but the more she feels good about how she plays, the more games like this we will see from her", or something like that.

Honorable mentions to Paige - do everything. 22 points on 9 shots and was everywhere, and to Nika for lock down defense, 1 TO, great scoring, and no fouls.

As happy as I am to see the progress from ICE I'm going NIKA for the Badass. Sometimes the biggest contributions don't show on the players stat sheet. Unique Drake scored 4 points on 3 shots. I'd give it to Nika who guarded her and had ZERO fouls and continued to hit the outside shot with 6 assists.

Gotta go with Nika. Even before the studio hosts talked about her defense at the half, I was really impressed by her obliteration of Unique Drake. And no fouls! By her shutting down the SJ high scorer, we turned the game into a laugher.

A lot of great efforts today: Another double-double for Aaliyah, Nika's suffocating D on Drake, Paige's incredible efficiency scoring 22 pts on just 9 shots and the freshmen continuing to shine. But today's BADASS has to go to Ice, who reminded all of us that she was the #5 player in the nation coming out of HS in 2022.

While the player of the game was IMO Paige, with HM Ice, the Badass was Nika! Her defense on the best player of St. Johns (and second leading scorer in the Big East) was remarkable.

Hm to Ice and Paige but THE Gnat gets by badass for today. She had Unique Drake under lockdown. One of her two scores was on a switch with Ice who got there late. Nika asked for the assignment and literally made Drake a non factor.

A tough one. Bueckers was Bueckers, Edwards was Edwards and Muhl did a great job on defense, but I have to go with Brady simply because I think that this was her coming out party and it deserves recognition.

I go with Nika for being the unsung hero. Great overall performance. I commend Ice for her performance. She was the reluctant hero. I hope this game boosts her confidence going forward.
