There would been far fewer points for UConn and more for Baylor, if not for Aubrey. Easily the Badass of the night!

Our recent injured reserves...Azzi with her outburst and Caroline with 4 for 6, 2 of them 3s, 6 boards, 3 assists...the silent assassin.

And a big HM for everybody else - their intensity really showed what defense is all about in the second half.

UConn's Magnificent Seven all played great tonight, but in the 3rd qtr, when UConn absolutely needed someone to step up and take over the game, Azzi did exactly what superstars and badasses do!

Aubrey! Not even close. When Aaliyah went out with 4 fouls, I thought we were in BIG trouble. Nope, Aubrey's defense and rebounding completely changed the game. We extended the lead and never looked back.

Aubrey!! when she came in the tone of the game changed and we had an athlete who could keep up with Baylor's guards. Most of the other players were having a problem staying with their man (woman), hence the wide open 3s, but not Aubrey. Her plus/minus had to be one of the highest on the team!!

They hit 12 3s, so obviously it wasn't just her. Just think how many more open 3s they would have had had she not played the way she did!

My badass award goes to Aubrey!! She was a rebounding machine. Aubrey earned her heating pad, and a nice ice bath.

When Edwards was on the bench with too many fouls, Aubrey stood up and grabbed six offensive rebounds, six defensive rebounds, 3 assists a steal, a block and just general cussedness on the defensive end.

That my friends is the definition of this here BADASS award.

Let others score points (and Azzi was great), hand out double digit assists (Nika doing her thing), and play with intensity (everybody) but Aubrey wore the BA cape today!

It's Aubrey for me. Azzi was the star scorer but those second half rebounds were just killers....

I am also gonna go with AG. The whole game changed with her in.

We also couldn't have done it without Azzi or anyone else, but I think AG was the biggest difference maker this game.
