That fourth quarter Caroline had is the stuff of legends. Really, this kid misses 12 games, gets cleared for full contact. Get's what was to be limited minutes, struggles in the first three quarters with rust. Then we have the fourth quarter comes...with 8:06 left in the game, Creighton up by 8...Caroline Ducharme hits her first basket a 3 pointer...cuts the lead to 5.

7:49 - Morgan Maly hits two free throws...Creighton by 7
7:27 - Caroline Ducharme makes a driving step through scoop lay-up...Creighton up 5
6:15 - Lauren Jensen hits a three....Creighton by 8
5:53 - ika Muhl drives in for a lay-up....Creighton by 6
5:23 - Aaliyah Edwards makes two free throws....Creighton by 4
4:26 - Carly Bachelor lay-up....Creighton by 6
2:57 - Caroline Ducharme with another step through lay-up....Creighton by 4
2:57 - Caroline Ducharme makes a free-throw....Creighton by 3
2:21 - Aaliyah Edwards makes a lay-up....Creighton by 1
1:43 - Lou Lopez-Senechal makes a lay-up...UConn by 1
1:18 - Morgan Maly makes a three pointer....Creighton up by 2
0:47 - Lou Lopez-Senechal makes a two point jumper....Tie ball game.
0:04 - Caroline Ducharme steps to the foul line and cold as ice" sinks two free throws....UConn wins by 2

Caroline may have only scored 10 points but they came at just the right time. All in the fourth quarter and at a time when Creighton had the momentum and was on their way to a road upset of the number 6 team in the country. While everyone gets credit for the team effort and all were instrumental in getting the win...without that fourth quarter by Caroline we don't win this game...

She earned the BAD ASS AWARD for this game!!!

Just got home from the game. I’m going against the grain. Suggesting Dorka - not for her performance tonight- but for the 4.0 gpa she earned last semester (which was celebrated at halftime). They may be constantly pursuing perfection as a team- but Dorka achieved it in the classroom. Well done!

Caroline for getting back on the horse. A bit shaky in the firs half kind of avoiding a scrum (understandable) but took it to the hoop in the second defenders be damned. So glad for her to be back for the team and the fans shaking off the rust and being a difference maker in her first game back.

You only describe scoring plays. The two charges that Lou took in the fourth quarter were huge.

Absolutely correct...I wasn't trying to diminish Lou's efforts they were herculean...she always plays hard...but really for Caroline to come back after missing 12 games...have such a shaky start for three quarters and then switch on the power drive and the will to win and literally give UConn what it needed on the offensive end to get the win that was special. I won't argue that without Lou taking those charges and giving UConn two extra possessions wasn't important...

Dorka got her Psychology degree from Ohio State University in 3 years (if memory serves me correctly).
What is not to love about this young lady!! Go Dorka!! GO Huskies, Welcome back, Caroline.

Pretty sure it was Azzi.
No, I believe it was Jana El Alfy.

It's a team of badass players. They are fearless. Any of them is ready and able to make the big stop or take the big shot. They never give up.

My badass award goes to Caroline and Lou. Both were clutch, and very much needed.

Paige looks so down in this photo, I hope she is just tired.
Well said, MSGRET. It's occurred to me increasingly over the course of the season that this year has been an emotional struggle for Paige.

Last year she had hopes of returning and was a fiery cheerleader on the sideline... this year, not so much. That's totally understandable, but it saddens me to watch such a wonderful young women have what she loves so much played out right in front of her, night after night, and she can't participate. This is her team, and yet now, it's not.

This might be my favorite photo this season. It surely is a team bonded with love amongst the players.

Good on Azzi for providing this lift for a teammate in spite of her own challenges.
Geno recruits really nice young women for the UConn women's basketball team.

In spite of the daunting challenges she faces in her own career, Azzi found the moment right just before Wednesday's game vs. Creighton to think of the big moment it was for Caroline Ducharme, about to return from almost seven weeks off because of head and neck injuries.

Thanks, Gordo, for passing that one along. I love it. I'll bet Caroline won't soon forget it either.

I don't know if we'll see Azzi back on the court this season, but I'll be rooting even harder for her recovery and healthy return for more reasons than her shooting ability.

Tough game tomorrow vs. Villanova. Go, Huskies.

LOU, evryone taking Caroline's 4th quarter ignores that Lou was the reason why she has been able to make the difference

UCONN struggles at the time, I would predict a loss against Villanova if it was another team BUT this team can fight, small margin WIN
