Kibitzer memorial badass award

Yeah, got to go with the starting 5. What incredible heart they showed today
Geesh, why not include the bench, the coaching staff, and the fans while you’re at it? We’ve gone from “it can be only one” to “it can be everyone.”

;)

Gotta go with Aubrey here, Aaliyah was fantastic but foul trouble kept her from being as physical on the boards as she needed to. Great team effort nonetheless.

This was an incredible BADASS effort by UConn's starting 5. But since I always choose 1 BA, Aaliyah gets the nod for constantly attacking the trees inside while putting up 25 pts on 10-14 shooting in only 29 minutes of PT. There is not another center or forward in the country capable of doing what Aaliyah did today against the Gamecocks.

The Whole. Damn. Team.
Special shout out to Lou for fighting through “the Diana Taurasi” treatment, and to Aaliyah Edwards going toe-to-toe with Boston, despite early foul trouble.

Aaliyah played ten minutes less than the rest of the starters. A full 40-minute performance could have changed the game a lot.

Great effort by Aaliyah and the rest of the team.

Aubrey - no question!!! Her game is progressing and she is getting better and better. BadAss today without question on offense and defense. She rebounds a little also. When she sharpens up her shooting she will be All-American. Go Huskies
Aaliyah played great also. She's learning how to play with the big girls.......

Oh, you want the baddest badass! :p

“You’re damn right I do!”

What’s next naming the whole team MVP?

I liked Nika's offensive driving to the basket- a new secret weapon for UConn! But for me, the BA award goes to Aubrey in a close call

Definitely Edwards with a close 2nd Lou..without those 2 they get blown out by 25

I'd have to say aside from a UConn player being a badass. In a literal sense the official standing right next to the inbound play where an inbound player took the ball out of the hands of the out of bounds player was a real bad............ass! ;)

Edwards with HM to Lou who was beaten up all day every time she moved. Elbows, hip checks, outright collisions off the ball and never called.

I was at the game without the benefit of replay. I'll watch the game again at some point, but if both players had their hands on the ball for that inbound play, the non-call was horrific. Just 1 of several in this game.
