Well,we have a few bri's, a Kia and a Kiah.........now it would be nice to have an A'ja and an Asia

"...At 6-0, both Ekmark and Nurse can play in the front court...."

Kia is 6'0", now.
But with her new Southern exposure... (the sunlight for 12 months a year and a few trips to the ice cream counter at the Dairy Bar)... let's look forward to, pehaps, 6'3". Her brother looks, a bit puckish, and, maybe, 6'4"?

Welcome, Kia! (US)
Bon chance! (Qub)
Hows-it, goin'... eh? (Can)

Paulie I suspect you will be assimilated into the 50+ post thread. Resistance is futile.

My wife was thinking she's not quite finished growing yet.

He is a 6'4" draftee of the Edmonton Oilers.

I received a tweet today around lunchtime that it was official Kia Nurse to UConn. I didn't post it here because I was on the folf course and no cells phones allowed. Now on Aja Asia and Katie Lou. I think we get Aja just because of everything that happened this past summer on team USA and her new friendships. You know the girls talk and after winning gold Im sure Aja is thinking I could be the next Breanna Stewart . Hey lets face it. USC is a good school and close to home but they struggled against Seton Hall yesterday. USC is trying to compete for their conference tournament and UConn is competeing a NC and expected to make the FF every year. That's a big difference. Asia Durr is a point guard and Kia Nurse is a shooter and scorer. No conflict with positions. Katie Lou has already seen her 2 sisters at Stanford do well but UConn has done better. I like our chances with all three left.

Its really crazy out there in the recruiting world. It seems like almost everybody wants to play for UConn and Geno is not going to have a problem because of his spacing of the kids coming in. They will all work their way into the lineup and they will all play without any pressure. Thank goodness he knows how to spread the great ones out so there wont be along of stepping on each others toes. .

Nurse is the starting PG on the Canadian national team.

Blue Star now has Kia recognized as a commit to UConn ... stating Kia is 6'1" and a guard/forward ...

JOHN: a very good video has been floating around for awhile, and I believe there is a new link to it today as a new thread. Let us know if you find it. And, hey, this news gives old guys yet another reason to try to be here for another five years.

I'm nursing a headache just thinking about it.
We need to pace ourselves nursing them along for a loooooonnngggg time!

Or all three... but I am greedy ;)
My fingers are crossed too with Wilson, Durr and Samuelson. While we are being greedy, I would also love to see us land an elite, talented center like Kalani Brown '15 and / or Lauren Cox '16. From what I've read, Wilson is more interested in playing the 3 /4 than 5 position. Also De'Janae Boykin '15 would make a great addition as a forward which is a position we will need some talent and size in. So happy and excited we got Kia Nurse! A great day for UCONN WCBB.

Thanks, I just saw it. She looks like a great addition.

Welcome Kia! This is going to be a great team next year, these four guards are big, athletic and talented. I can't wait to see them playing along side Stewart, Tuck, Stokes, KML all these players are 6 feet and above, all great scorers, passers and they all rebound great. Geno will polish and utilize their skills, look at all the guards that has come to UConn one way and left a complete and different player, playing suffocating D, rebounding, scoring all over. I trust Geno will do no different then his past All Americans guards. Hopefully we can get Aja to UConn! talk about a UCONN ARMY! The next in the DYNASTY!!! Go Huskies!

Tony... a tweet or a text. many old schoolers tend to call a text alert a "tweet"
