Nurse is 6' now but by her junior yr she'll be 5'10
Now we just have to get the Blue Cow to open before 4 PM on Sundays."...At 6-0, both Ekmark and Nurse can play in the front court...."
Kia is 6'0", now.
But with her new Southern exposure... (the sunlight for 12 months a year and a few trips to the ice cream counter at the Dairy Bar)... let's look forward to, pehaps, 6'3". Her brother looks, a bit puckish, and, maybe, 6'4"?
Welcome, Kia! (US)
Bon chance! (Qub)
Hows-it, goin'... eh? (Can)
Blue Star now has Kia recognized as a commit to UConn ... stating Kia is 6'1" and a guard/forward ...
My fingers are crossed too with Wilson, Durr and Samuelson. While we are being greedy, I would also love to see us land an elite, talented center like Kalani Brown '15 and / or Lauren Cox '16. From what I've read, Wilson is more interested in playing the 3 /4 than 5 position. Also De'Janae Boykin '15 would make a great addition as a forward which is a position we will need some talent and size in. So happy and excited we got Kia Nurse! A great day for UCONN WCBB.
Thanks, I just saw it. She looks like a great addition.
So we'll be holding a full house?
Kia, Kiah, Breanna, Briana, and Briana?

If A'ja hasn't figured out by now that the 3/4/5 positions are all equivalent at UCONN then all hope for her is lost.
Kia sat infront of me with her parents and Coach Ricci next to them. She is tall. 5'11-6'1. If we get Wilson Durr Samuelson and with the Philly Belles team of Espinoza-Hunter, Moriarity Patterson and Lowery. We may not lose for a long time. With these classes Geno will be coaching them for approx. 12 more years. Law of averages tells me we would have to lose at least once in 12 years don't you think so????? LOL
Well if Hartley's 5'7 and she's an inch taller and ... blah blah lol.Nurse is 6' now but by her junior yr she'll be 5'10
probably referring to the Hartford game?Saniya's coach was at the PSU game?? If so, I bet he was pinching himself to see her perform like that for UCONN in person! I hope he comes to see her in CT as well (bet he does)
Plus in that picture she's kneeling next to #8, Kim Gaucher, who is listed at 6'1", and they look very close in height (even though they are kneeling). I realize one can't necessarily extrapolate from that, but 6'0" seems very reasonable. Will UCONN list her at 5'7"??Canadian National Team site lists Kia as 6-0. It seems pretty precise - Natalie Achonwa is listed as 6'2 1/2".
Since Courtney and Kia are both around 6'1", they could play Kaleena's position. We will definitely have enough guards, 7.
Saniya's coach was at the PSU game. I met him and shook his hand.
Geno is preparing for an assault on the new 10 second rule with lots of fresh legs. The opposition might not cross half court the entire season! We will definitely have enough guards, 7.
