Always the key, and probably what we were worst at over the last three seasons. It's been awful. But it's not just passing, it's motion without the ball on offense. Passing is useless if our players are virtual statues and are as easily defended as one. We were horrific away from the ball against St. Joes.
And if we shoot our typical percentage as does Florida we win by 8 instead of 3. Again, three point defense has been a problem over the years and needs to be cleaned up but it wasn't a problem against Florida.
How many open threes did St Joes have?I loved that Hurley drew up an alley oop on the first possession for Akok to get the crowd going even though it didn't work. Hope we don't shy away from that and we will be using it a ton next year with Jackson.
Florida had 6 open threes that game, we had 7. We shot far lower than our percentage than they did. Three point D has been a problem for years but it wasn't that game, we won because of our defense.
Don't be behind at the end. That's far more important.Don't fall behind early.
Enough said
In our best years, we've more notably limited opponents to fewer points, but either works for me.1) Score more points than the opponent.
St. Joe's is horrible and Florida is good, not at all surprising. In our best years, we've more notably limited opponents to fewer points, but either works for me.
Just saw, btw, that Florida is up 41-25 at halftime against St. Joe's. Go figure.
My statistical edit overlapped with your post, but I doubt it changes your point.St. Joe's is horrible and Florida is good, not at all surprising.

Did you watch (I didn't), or possibly in the same way that UConn did against SJU?St. Joe's made a game of it.
When the joke is over your head...Hard to say. He has unlimited range so Hurley might just green light him to shoot on first touch.
Loved Brimah hope Akok can have that game altering ability on D as he gets olderSunday against FL was very encouraging following last Wednesday's shitshow. We still have a lot of work to do. What does the BY think keys to making a splash in Charleston and picking up a few quality W's are?
#unintentionalyironicpostsWhen the joke is over your head...
Didn't watch. Florida's star center got thrown out and St. Joe's shot terribly from three.Did you watch (I didn't), or possibly in the same way that UConn did against SJU?
Nah, just poorly executed.I just hope if Bouknight drives to the lane and gets called for a charge that he doesn’t run off the court....too soon?

But, but, but the transitive property of basketball says that this result is impossible. Looks like St. J's made a run in the second half. Anyone actually watch this?
