As far as I can recall UConn's numbers that's a lot of students... what, maybe 20% of an incoming class. That's a lot of free moneyKeep in mind that Connecticut already offers merit scholarships. If I recall his proposal correctly the sole requirement was that the students come from eighth family whose income was less than $50,000. that may be a noble goal, but it wasn't within his purview to unilaterally make in announce that decision without consulting the board.
moreso that she's relaying the toxic atmosphere in the conference over the past year. She is mad that people didn't trust her right before she stabbed them in the back.
Stabbing in the back implies something unforeseen. The second UCLA/USC left, it was obvious that Wash & Ore were hoping/planning on a BiG invite.moreso that she's relaying the toxic atmosphere in the conference over the past year.

That Conferece could have survived Colorado an actual outsider.Washington was not the victim here, anymore than BCU was the victim in 2003.
UConn fans are so used to being abused in realignment that now many UConn fans identify more with the abuser than we do with the abused. Washington was the abuser in this situation, and destroyed Washington State's and Oregon State's athletic programs, and forced the conference apart into far flung conferences that are going to damage fan interest long term. She has no one to blame but herself.
On this, we are in agreement. Washington and Oregon wanted the PAC to fall apart so they could go to their "dream conference".Washington was not the victim here, anymore than BCU was the victim in 2003.

I think they hate being in big 10. They women have prefer status quo.On this, we are in agreement. Washington and Oregon wanted the PAC to fall apart so they could go to their "dream conference".
What?I think they hate being in big 10. They women have prefer status quo.
What does how much money you bring in helonthe fan experience?
TBH, all the money that is out there isn’t really going to anything valuable. A lazy river in a football complex? Is that really necessary? Is it value add?
These places have invented ways to spend and take on capex debt. Not sure it has made the sport better at all or provided superior services and experience to their athletes
John, they practically begged to get picked up immediately after USC and UCLA bolted. Word was B1G wasn't interested in delivering the death blow to the PAC.I think they hate being in big 10. They women have prefer status quo.

U think Oregon wants to be in big 10? They would prefer to be in pac with usc and ucla. What?
once ucla and usc left? Sure. But they weren’t leaving if usc and ucla were in pacJohn, they practically begged to get picked up immediately after USC and UCLA bolted. Word was B1G wasn't interested in delivering the death blow to the PAC.
So it begs the question who told the commssioner to turn down a 30 million dollar a year per school offer and directed him to ask for 50 million? Only someone interested in seeing the conference picked apart would think that was a good idea.
Well, it wasn't the remaining schools that "stabbed them in the back".once ucla and usc left? Sure. But they weren’t leaving if usc and ucla were in pac
Really? I don't. I think a better move is Navy going independent.I think thats a good move for both parties.
A better move for UConn also keep Army , Temple and maybe even USF all Indy also It certainly would make our AD’s job easierReally? I don't. I think a better move is Navy going independent.
Good for the AAC to get the Army-Navy game in league. Good Army to be on the same level as Navy for the next round. Yes, Navy going indy would accomplish the same thig. When the dust settles, I think Army/Navy/Air Force in the same place would be good for all three.I think thats a good move for both parties.
Wouldn't they be in the same division? What happens if both Army and Navy make it to the AAC championship game?
AAC has abandoned divisions, along with ACC PAC MTNWouldn't they be in the same division?
