Not late.... the conference realignment suffering has been long felt along with everyone on here. I'm well aware.you must be very late to the party. its funny now because some realized this in 2014 when they chose Louisiville.

Stadium needs to be full.... it won't be .... regardless people will be foaming for football so early in the season ... Benedict should be showing the facilities tour and talking about them with highlights up in the press box every single game.We need to beat NC State. It is simple as that.
Benedict should come up with free transportation, giveaways, and anything else to get people there. We got to bring the crowd back to the game somehow. If we win this game, the following home game there should be much more people. I think Mora and the boys will be ready. Let's hope the state is ready too.Stadium needs to be full.... it won't be .... regardless people will be foaming for football so early in the season ... Benedict and our President should be wine and dinning Power Conference Presidents and AD's after full tours of our facilities ... continually ... hammer it home.Benedict should come up with free transportation, giveaways, and anything else to get people there. WordCan’t wait for the ACC to collapse. I will celebrate for days.
Even better is when that happens and I’m able to go over to the BC, Cuse, etc forums and watch the “key tweets and it’s all gone to hell for BC” threadsWord
It takes two to tango and they're just not interested and there's nothing you can really do about that.Benedict and our President should be wine and dinning Power Conference Presidents and AD's after full tours of our facilities ... continually ... hammer it home.
I think Duke will find a spot somewhere because of their enormous brand value and to a lesser extent because of their academics.I honestly expect Cuse, BC, Wake, and maybe L'ville and Duke to be the only schools left in the ACC when it's all said and done. I think all the rest will get grabbed by the big 3.

We are all looking forward to the day when the ACC blows up. Really hope that day is sooner rather than later. This is the only reason I am cheering you FSU and their private equity venture.Even better is when that happens and I’m able to go over to the BC, Cuse, etc forums and watch the “key tweets and it’s all gone to hell for BC” threads
Let’s see if their brand remains strong 14 years after coach k.I think Duke will find a spot somewhere because of their enormous brand value and to a lesser extent because of their academics.
The rest are toast. BC has zero value. Louisville has some appeal to a B12 but not much else. Wake not much. Cuse not much either- maybe B12 if they want to build east coast precense
You would need powerful politicians to force ESPN or any other media company to bend to your will. We haven't had any since maybe colonial times.Perhaps the media partners aren't the only ones who are stupid.
There's gotta be something going on internally within the ACC. There's gotta be something we don't know. Stanford, Cal, SMU??????
This. I suggested when the FSU/Clemson moaning anout dollars started that UConn approach the ACC and offer to take half a share so they could give more money to quiet them down. I was told UConn should never agree to such a thing. SMU seems to be making this play, and it will probably work for them. You need forward thinking. They might get told that they are getting their off ramp from the ACC by X date in exchange for cooperation....or ESPN will take SMU pro-rata share and give it to the ACC's new "performance" pot used to reward winning programs.
So if hypothetically the governor of the State showed up at a UConn football practice today, expressed his support for the program and the athletic department, and specifically declared on the record that the athletics deficit was not a major concern, would that be enough to satisfy the "it's not sustainable" crowd here?
