From NJHoops comment, it seems like Hurley does know who alreadyHurley knows what’s he’s doing. I’m sure he’ll bring in a great assistant and he already likely knows who.

IU hired his accountant too? Wow, Miller really wanted him! Did they get his plumber too?Not to his accountant.
Then he surely went to IU with Dan Hurley's "blessing".Someone on the cbb reddit said that they heard Kenya took LESS money to go to IU. If that’s true, then that is truly mind bottling. Less money to go to a program with zero hype and lets be honest..archie miller isn’t a great coach
Dan Hurley should hire his pops.
Sounds crazy but he hired his brother at Wagner and URI...Dan Hurley should hire his pops.
who wants to guess? There’s also a head coach out there who is mad about this because it just messed up his staff.
Dan Hurley should hire his pops.
Wait, Indiana announced they were leaving the Big 10 at the same time?? Huge news.......Sign of a Program on the rise.. No way UConn dollars can compete with Big 12 dollars for assistants.. FB Programs throwing a lot of money into the bank account.. Dan Hurley will have a great deal of interest for that position.. Don't laugh.. What about Scott B?(I know he's a HC)..Could open up things for Taliek to a take a more active role..

UConn men losing assistant coach Kenya Hunter to Indiana
UConn men's basketball assistant coach Kenya Hunter is leaving to join Archie Miller's staff at Indiana, according to a report.www.courant.com
At first glance I thought this said "Dan Hurley should pop his tires."Weird he went to Indiana for less money. Uconn will easily be a better rated school going forward. Well whatever we trust in Hurely!
We will find another good assistant. Wish Kenya well. My only concern is keeping Hawkins. Guess we will find out exactly how big a factor Kenya was in his recruitment. Some were worried about Alosi leaving and our players have blown up in just a few months with Rehfeldt, some people are just worriers.
If making $330K a year is an issue with living in CT. then almost everyone in CT. has an issue.Cost of living in CT vs INdy an issue?
I remember IU beat UConn @ MSG last year in a very poorly played gameHey - it's his profession and he has a goal in mind
If he feels that going to IU will get him there faster - more power to him
He probably sees Dan Hurley as well set here at UConn and maybe senses some fragility in the IU HC situation
Dan Hurley has done nice things and finding a new assistant shouldn't be an issue - I would be shocked if he doesn't have a bullpen list at all times
Best of luck at IU - just pray you don't play UConn soon - IU may be embarrassed
Could happen but if you look at his comments after he committed it was almost all about Hurley and UConn. Crossing my fingers he stays committed.Credit for Hawkins, wouldn’t be surprised to see him decommit.
