Ah there it isSo much for the counter argument that Facey is a shining, wonderful example of Glen Miller developing Bigs. The sample size was small to begin with and it was a product of low expectations and ignored the lack of progress the following three years.

Unbelievable, hilarious chief one of the worst! Just when you think...ah never mind.
The fact he now can get to the basket unlike pretty much all of the 3 years shows the improvement from the staffs work as well as his own. The fact he's now missing shots he was making most of the year and you pounce now, telling!
He's basically the same player he's always been. Only reason he has gotten a pass while Brimah and Purvis have not is that he actually looks the part. Big difference is he's much better defensively, but look at his per minute stats and look at his efficiency - he's the same player on offense that he was as a sophomore. Can't finish through contact, can't function as a primary screener, can't make plays in traffic. He's shooting 36% in his last 11 games which is stunningly bad for a big.
Scary thing is I still think he's our best shot tonight.
Agree the only thing I'd say on the defensive thought is yeah he's much better but that's a testament to the fact he was so awful prior. Still not aware of where he is quite often which amazes me because he still rebounds the ball. If he did box out or know how at this point he would get 15 a game i swear same and same with the other guy who doesn't see balls which go by him while he's fighting. Amazing to me how good they could be if they knew how to play 4 years later, it's a shame.
In HS he was NY Gatorade player of the year in his division - so Coach Miller had something to work with!
Seeing them close up in person last night the idea that Brimah and Facey had bulked up in the off season is laughable. Neither guy has shoulders.
Brimah is definitely bulkier in my opinion. I don't know if Facey is or not but he plays the same way.
