Karaban still weighing decision whether to return or go pro

That is not a thing anymore, same deadline for everyone

Karaban doesn’t decide today…if? Hurley has to sign someone right?

Today should be the deadline regardless. There’s not really any need for him to test the waters again, we know exactly what he is. A mid to late second round pick, somewhere between 35-50. There’s nothing that changes that at this point. The staff should move forward accordingly after today, there’s no: let’s wait and see how it all shakes out again, they can’t wait until June to make the most essential roster decision here. Whatever the decision is today, that should be treated as final & move accordingly.
They would need to move on today if he’s still undecided, it would be coaching malpractice to jeopardize the best possible outcome to the entire season by not fielding the best team available. There’s loyalty but it has to go both ways. His future career shouldn’t be more important than the cumulative careers of the entire team who all have aspirations of having pro careers to varying degrees that could be negatively affected by UConn having a poor season needlessly leading to less national exposure. JMHO

I'm beginning to sense that Alex is hesitant about coming back to UConn for 25/26.

Alex knows he should probably go to the NBA and get this career started, but deep down doesn't want to leave Uconn. Loves college to much.

So he is just going to let the clock hit 0 and say "oops, guess I ran out of time"
Kind of like Houston in the finals.
