Enter anytime but they still have to commit by the deadline.
Not sure where you got that from, but whatever article you got it from is old. It was changed in 2024

I’ve been told he’s going to announce his decision in 20 minutes
Seems like you were told wrongI’ve been told he’s going to announce his decision in 20 minutes
Looking high. He really doesn't need to say anything if he is staying. So what are the odds midnight just comes and goes without an Instagram post or anything.
Karaban doesn’t decide today…if? Hurley has to sign someone right?
They would need to move on today if he’s still undecided, it would be coaching malpractice to jeopardize the best possible outcome to the entire season by not fielding the best team available. There’s loyalty but it has to go both ways. His future career shouldn’t be more important than the cumulative careers of the entire team who all have aspirations of having pro careers to varying degrees that could be negatively affected by UConn having a poor season needlessly leading to less national exposure. JMHOToday should be the deadline regardless. There’s not really any need for him to test the waters again, we know exactly what he is. A mid to late second round pick, somewhere between 35-50. There’s nothing that changes that at this point. The staff should move forward accordingly after today, there’s no: let’s wait and see how it all shakes out again, they can’t wait until June to make the most essential roster decision here. Whatever the decision is today, that should be treated as final & move accordingly.
Kind of like Houston in the finals.Alex knows he should probably go to the NBA and get this career started, but deep down doesn't want to leave Uconn. Loves college to much.
So he is just going to let the clock hit 0 and say "oops, guess I ran out of time"
