Gabby just has an electric smile during those warm ups :D

Dangerfield is going to get as many shots as she wants today. They are completely sagging off her.

KSU taking 30 seconds off the clock every possession. UConn not figuring out what to do with a trapping zone again.

.-.
Lou's charge was because she didn't want to shoot 2 3s in a row. She should have just fired it again.

As bad as it is for Saniya to have to go through the protocol, imagine if it had happened to any other starter. Saniya was the one starter easier to replace for this game. That's how thin UConn's bench is.

Lewis is a handful inside and on the boards. UConn still trying to feel out K State's zone defense.

VERY questionable charge call on Lou. ;):p

By the time of the first TO I'm still waiting for UConn to get there legs to catch up to their brains. Still, they're getting good looks.

UConn effectively using that "pendulum" offense against the 2/3. They're brains are starting to slow down and catch up to their bodies by the 2nd TO.

Most important take-away for me so far: despite the emotional game just on Wed. with 3 guys playing 40 minutes and a flight to KS, they are really alert, focused and energetic. Kudos to the players!

let's see how much energy in the 2nd half....

Crystal already showing what a demon she can be on defense. Another deflection leads to an assist to KLS.

Exactly. They need to learn what this new (to the Huskies) team will do. For sure they know how to beat a zone but every team throws in its own wrinkles.

.-.
UConn's trying to run them into the ground.

Danger is so far an offensive nightmare for KSU.
