Will be a pro-Kansas/Big12 ref blow hard fest.Do we know the refs yet?
It doesn’t matter. It’s Kansas and if I recall correctly, we have a horrid record against them. I’m not sure that we’ve ever beaten Kansas. This should be a great game. That squad has some dudes.Nope.
Kansas is not actually good this year imo. Taris and Mullins second game back. Off of minutes restrictions. Reibe confidence at an all time high. Solo due. Peterson rusty(if he plays). They won’t be able to score with us. Hurley revenge game in Lawrence. UConn +15. Statement game.
Are Reed, and Mullins off minutes restriction. I can kind of see it for Reed, but I would think Mullins would still be being eased in.Nope.

I, for one, would be opposed to Kansas putting a stadium in Storrs.. I envy what a Phog Allen Field house would look like in Storrs.
AHThanks, boomer
We get the right guys to the line, we are a very good FT shooting team.If we are healthy, we win by 10+ points. I can’t say 20+ because we can’t hit FT’s at an elite level yet. This game shouldn’t be close, even in Kansas. If I see a team that can play with us I will call them out. But I haven't yet.
To me it seemed like Reed had way less range of motion than Mullins. I'm hoping for no set back for either guy.Are Reed, and Mullins off minutes restriction. I can kind of see it for Reed, but I would think Mullins would still be being eased in.

For real?Yes they are the 3 that don’t like Hurley!
His team farted out prematurely last year because for no apparent reason the conference POY didn’t show up. Not a bad shooting day — wouldn’t defend, pass or run the court. That was a team perfectly capable of a run in March — they just didnt show upIt's funny with the Pitino call - you end up just thinking he's smart enough to scout and get the right guys in, not leave glaring holes in the roster. He ends up getting no PG's, we get two. A kid like Smith would have been perfect for what they want, a gritty NYC PG that plays tough nosed D. The interesting thing with him, is that his team farted out prematurely last year because they couldn't score. So he swings to the FAR opposite end thinking that will work. Frustration selections or strategical? Like you, now after seeing them, I honestly don't think they'll be as good as last year.
Zubi doesn't feel like he's blending quite as well with this group - last year he had multiple PGs to throw him solid entries.
I assume the implication was that all refs don't like Hurley, so it doesn't matter which three they actually are, it applies to them all.For real?
That's excellent, because impressing jackasses is my main aim here! Thanks bud. Great insight. I’ve been really impressed with your contributions.
None the less, do great coaches have players that do that? Wouldn't ensuring your best player goes into a key game with a good attitude pretty important? I mean, you work that hard all year just to see the kid flame out in the biggest game - very weird. His team farted out prematurely last year because for no apparent reason the conference POY didn’t show up. Good coaches prevent that more than mediocre coaches. If you actually believe that any adult can always make a young male behave responsibly and rationally, I have a bridge between Brooklyn and Manhattan I’m willing to sell you.None the less, do great coaches have players that do that? I'm sure Kansas isn't an underdog very often in Allen Fieldhouse.UConn opens as a 1.5 point favorite.
KP would have suggested 2.5. I'm guessing this goes up. Tarris ready will make a difference against Bidunga, who is averaging about 16/8 so far. I'm sure if Petersen plays, he'll be a little rusty. If he's not, I can see Ross getting some run. This one would be sweet, and the prize of the OOC if we can get it. We don't beat these guys, it's in the Phogg and we need some revenge for that 2024 game.I'm sure Kansas isn't an underdog very often in Allen Fieldhouse.
I have no idea what kind of algorithm the ESPN predictor uses but they have Kansas having a 52.7% chance of winning. So I was thinking the spread might go down and not up. We'll see by where the money goes the next 2 days.KP would have suggested 2.5. I'm guessing this goes up. Tarris ready will make a difference against Bidunga, who is averaging about 16/8 so far. This is an interesting one because of all the injuries involved.I have no idea what kind of algorithm the ESPN predictor uses but they have Kansas having a 52.7% chance of winning. So I was thinking the spread might go down and not up. We'll see by where the money goes the next 2 days.
