Kansas game

I hate this. Now the narrative will be we won because he didn’t play. Smh
Other than from UConn fans how many of the national media talked about Tarris and Mullins being out against AZ? Answer: none.

No one will remember come selection Sunday…and prob not even next week.

If they do will they mention Tarris injured (if he plays) and Mullins just coming back. Doubtful

I'm sure Kansas isn't an underdog very often in Allen Fieldhouse.
I saw this in an article.

UConn is a 1.5-point favorite at Allen Fieldhouse, which means this is just the third time Self has been an underdog at home in 22 years at Kansas. The first time came Feb. 27 2021, when Kansas was a 4.5-point underdog at home to Baylor. The Jayhawks won that game, 71-58. The second time came Feb. 3, 2024, when Kansas was a 1.5-point underdog at home to Houston. The Jayhawks also won that game, 78-65.

Tonight that streaks ends. As well as UConn's 4 game losing streak to Kansas.

We owe them. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned when #1 Kansas came to the Civic Center and we had a big lead but couldn't hold on. Ricky Moore and Kirk King were suspended and freshman Rip Hamilton ran point.

The Kemper game in 1995 was worse. I was there. Blown out as the unbeaten #2 team.

KU has a 6-9 235 player named Bidunga. So when he dunks the ball, do they call it the Bidungadunk? For those who listen to country music, this reminds me of the Trace Adkins song, Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.

For those who never heard this song, check it out. You're welcome!

He's unfortunately good, too.

No Taris changes things.

I still like us in a close one.

Reibe will have his hands full though.

I remember that game…Kansas had no idea we were that good and took them awhile to settle down.

Rash had a pretty good game if I recall also.

I really hope UConn has adjusted their practicing this week for a late night game.

Yeah, these kids are used to being up at this hour but their bodies are normally in recovery mode by now.

Even the gym rats are just shooting around or doing individual drills at this hour.

Need a team ready to perform at 9pm not looking for their night cap, pj's and a warm glass of milk.

Is UConn/Kansas tipping off on a different channel while Syracuse/Tennessee ends? I missed any possible announcement of that info.

You’re talking about the coaching staff that rescheduled Thanksgiving to avoid tryptophan induced play.
Best point made in this thread so far 😂
