Kansas game

It's funny with the Pitino call - you end up just thinking he's smart enough to scout and get the right guys in, not leave glaring holes in the roster. He ends up getting no PG's, we get two. A kid like Smith would have been perfect for what they want, a gritty NYC PG that plays tough nosed D. The interesting thing with him, is that his team farted out prematurely last year because they couldn't score. So he swings to the FAR opposite end thinking that will work. Frustration selections or strategical? Like you, now after seeing them, I honestly don't think they'll be as good as last year.

Zubi doesn't feel like he's blending quite as well with this group - last year he had multiple PGs to throw him solid entries.
His team farted out prematurely last year because for no apparent reason the conference POY didn’t show up. Not a bad shooting day — wouldn’t defend, pass or run the court. That was a team perfectly capable of a run in March — they just didnt show up

Ugh - ESPN2. I am not paying for YouTube TV - Google wants to just push the monthly price up and cite the tired "best content" crap while being more expensive than cable.

I will be on ESPN website gamecast.

None the less, do great coaches have players that do that? Wouldn't ensuring your best player goes into a key game with a good attitude pretty important? I mean, you work that hard all year just to see the kid flame out in the biggest game - very weird.

Good coaches prevent that more than mediocre coaches. If you actually believe that any adult can always make a young male behave responsibly and rationally, I have a bridge between Brooklyn and Manhattan I’m willing to sell you.

I'm sure Kansas isn't an underdog very often in Allen Fieldhouse.
KP would have suggested 2.5. I'm guessing this goes up. Tarris ready will make a difference against Bidunga, who is averaging about 16/8 so far. I'm sure if Petersen plays, he'll be a little rusty. If he's not, I can see Ross getting some run. This one would be sweet, and the prize of the OOC if we can get it. We don't beat these guys, it's in the Phogg and we need some revenge for that 2024 game.

I have no idea what kind of algorithm the ESPN predictor uses but they have Kansas having a 52.7% chance of winning. So I was thinking the spread might go down and not up. We'll see by where the money goes the next 2 days.

This is an interesting one because of all the injuries involved.

Jesus. I leave you people alone for a few hours and you manage this catastrophe.

UConn, with Reed and Mullins at 100% and KU without Peterson. Advantage UConn. Even in AFH. With Peterson, it’s very close. If Reed is more limited and Peterson is 100% advantage KU. Tiller is very good and is the kind of 4 that causes problems for AK.

I was in Kemper in the 90s. I’m very, very ready for UConn to finally put one in the win column against Kansas. Expecting it to be easy is a mistake, one Hurley will never make. He will have them expecting to face the 1986-87 Lakers.

@August_West needs to see this

No way we lose in the blue Connecticut jerseys
Don't do that.

I was a little annoyed that we are on ESPN 2.
Florida vs Duke on ESPN at 7:30
Kentucky vs North Carolina on ESPN at 9:30

So that is quite a slate of games. Tennessee at Syracuse before our game. It better not run long (it will).

Is every game now a game time decision ? We need a healthy Tarris period.
Hopefully it's like Belichick listing Brady as "probable - shoulder" for years on every injury report.
