July recruiting period underway (AAU)

Excellent find and great news.

I presume three-deep means in terms of coaches watching. I know CD was at the Run4theRoses tourney where Bueckers apparently played.

That's exactly what it means. I think Geno watched at least 9 or 10 of Buecker's games in Louisville and Chicago. She is definitely UCONN material.

You sound like you have first-hand knowledge. Details would be cool if you do.

Louisville: Bueckers team played in a 9th grade bracket (why???). They destroyed everybody they played until championship game and then beat a good 2020 team from West Virginia. Geno watched several games.

She played in an older age group bracket in Chicago with her 9th grade team. They did lose one game to another team from Minnesota but dominated all the other teams they played. Again, Geno watched multiple games (along with many others including Muffet & Niele from ND).

Great athlete and can score in a variety of ways, but all-around game is so impressive. Anticipates so well defensively, rebounds well, and is an A+ passer. Looked like a quarterback at times. Best 2020 player I have seen.

Thanks, and she's also the best 2020 I've seen to date as well.

Her and Fudd (21) are must haves for UConn, in my opinion. And they played great together at the U16's.

There was a tweet that Geno was watching a West Virginia team but I couldn't figure out why.

Fudd is amazing too! Watched her play 4-5 times. So talented and wise beyond her years.

Can't believe we have to sit through another three high school basketball seasons before UConn can introduce PB to her rightful home in Storrs

I think that's Terri Williams-Flournoy sister of Boo Williams formerly of Georgetown currently HC at Auburn sitting next to Doug.
You are right Coco... That it is. I knew it was one of those ladies with a bunch of names.

We've got Azzi Fudd on the watch list for 2021 and Caroline Bachus for 2022. What about 2023 you say?

"Little Taurasi" Nicole Melious from Staten Island.

She's in a different class than the two I mentioned. But I'd take Bueckers over Brunelle if forced to choose anyway.

I know I sound like every other spoiled fan but I really want both, with Watson. I agree how special Bueckers can be so you don't get an argument from me but I really like BB range and leadership. She Seems like a gem off the court from everything I can tell from a far.... I think she puts out here list soon.

For what it's worth I think she was rated #1 in the country in her age group

Seen her #2 in one place. Course, not too many are rating 6th graders. But she's one to watch for sure.

That's awesome! However, something is curiously askew with the photo- shouldn't you be smiling ear to ear and she be the one with the frown"? After all, she must be realizing what fanatical fan base we are...

Vandy probably on the phone to the NCAA already because that young lady is holding a Louisville offer which obviously makes her a prospect.
I am a little late on catching up on all the posts, however this made me burst out on the train commute tonight and elicit some curious looks. Thanks for the big time chuckle!:D
