Olivia Olson – 6’1 G – 2024 – Benilde St. Margaret’s HS (MN) – Minnesota Fury UAA 2024

I remember watching Olson last year in Des Moines and came away very impressed. Fast forward to now, and she’s a completely different player – in a great way. She’s improved almost every facet of her game as well as has become stronger and quicker. She showed the ability to make shots from anywhere on the floor and was active at all times on the floor. I think she’s well on her way to becoming one of the most sought after players in the 2024 class — nationally.

Watched Shade play vs West Coast Premier. She calmly sank 2 free throws to send the game into double overtime. West Coast face guarded her as it was apparent she was the Gym Rats #1 option. She did appear to force a few. She is a fierce competitor.

Textbook release and elite footwork to get that shot off for a player her size. I hope you are right. Here is the thing I find most intriguing about Toomey-she grew up a PG and had a late growth spurt.

She only gets 8 shots! Unless this game was over in the first quarter, fire the coach! I know you want to spread the ball around but that is ridiculous. I wonder how many of the 8 shots were offensive rebounds. The only way that kid only gets 8 shots is if the guards are named, Paige, Caitlyn, and Azzi.
