Ah, some welcome optimism. If you're going to use a prop at your announcement, the thing about choosing UConn is that finding a Husky breed dog is not that difficult. I suppose one could obtain a rooster but a volunteer? Signing with Stanford would make a statement if you walk into the gym with Ozzie Smith...or a tree, but what do you do if your letter of intent is with Georgetown?

I guess I missed this article from Boston.com about a year ago. Clearly Geno & Kyrie have a relationship. Note Kyrie's comment about Coach K. "Coach Krzyewski was a huge selling point for him to commit to Duke."

Dawn also ran quite a bit of post isolation with Charles and Griner. Same post isolation that Geno used to beat her when Ibiam, Coates & Wilson were on the SC front line.

The difference is Geno likes to run the hi/lo with forwards off the skinny post which is a more complex offensive scheme. Dawn on the other hand had her guards use quick passes into the post or to the block. Both are still dependent on a good, precise offensive spread and good pace in the offensive end.

There is a new poster on The Summitt saying it's UConn. Wouldn't be surprised if the new poster and Mayafan1 are one in the same. Regardless of where Horston chooses I wish her the best of luck.
