I think Xavier, Butler and DePaul would fit nicely in the A10 and are probably better suited for A10.Mid-major is a function of place, not a result. By that measurement, Maryland and Penn State would be mid-majors.
what I figured would happen, they were waiting for him to commit somwhereUConn made a thank you post on social media after Apostolos committed to Richmond, he probably should have gave it some time before complaining.
Interesting, nobody, but one tweet reports SMU. Not JStew agency, not SMU, not one media source. I would check the source, but sounds at least right now as fake news.
He would not have started at Gonzaga for the same reason he would not have started here. He was clearly looking for a place to have a chance at starter’s minutes and that wasn’t going to come at a top program. Happy he found a good landing spot. Hope he kills it this season.Very surprised Gonzaga never reached out to JS.

SMU is not bad place to be. I just hope he crushes it there by getting good minutes, say 25-30 per game. Not a bad landing spot. Hope he gets a chance to start and play significant minutes.
Me, too. Jaylin will have a chance to do something many times that no UConn player has ever done before even once: win at Moody Coliseum.Wish Jaylin nothing but the best at SMU. I hope he gets the playing time he was looking for.
That’s convincing lol
Thats happiness right there.
Man these conferences are such Frankensteins. I had to look back up what conference SMU is in because I had no idea (because it still makes no sense being in the "ACC").He didn't go with Luke, but he is in the same conference. They played once last year. That'll be a game to tune into.
Just say 40%. Actually, just say 4% or even 0.4%, those are probably closer.Still feel like there's a good 38 to 42% chance that he'll come back to UConn.
Definitely I will won't change the channel if I happen to get to a SMU game. I watched Aidan Mahaney a few times at UC Santa Barbara. It's a shame they didn't get into the NCAAT this year. One of the few former Husky transfers I'll actually track with interest.
What's weird about it? Hope he crushes it.Love Jaylin and wish him the best, but…SMU? That was the best place for him? Weird.
Yeah, I don't get it. Gets himself into an ACC program, made the tourney last year and should have some good NIL. Thought he'd wind up further west, but seems like a solid landing spot. He'll get to play Luke, and then some really good programs (Duke, UNC, LV, UVa). I'll be pulling for the Mustangs and the, gulp, Golden Eagles. What's weird about it? Hope he crushes it.
