Yes, Bilas is a holier than though hall monitor. In addition to being a boring scold everything he's advocating for in college sports will end with about 40 schools playing just football and basketball. You didn’t hear about my kids. Jay Bilas answering a direct question makes him a hall monitor? Was Jay wrong? Should grown professional men act that way? Do you act like that when you lose? Can someone you admire and respect have flaws? Does his behavior help or hurt him and this program? I’m pretty sure he knows it’s not helpful and if he could he would change it but maybe he can’t. Frankly I don’t give a s@it if he doesn’t change, it doesn’t make the point any less valid. I’m glad I’m never going to meet your kids.
I don't play major D1 basketball and I don't have kids. You're about the 5th poster who has brought their kids into this. Nobody cares what you teach your kids.
Yes, Dan Hurley helps the University and the state immensely. He also helps the sport immensely because it's become really boring in recent years with all the personalities leaving the game. They're talking about Dan Hurley and UConn basketball more than the remaining 16 teams in the tournament.
