Gonna be honest. Nobody here knows Dan personally. As much as some perceive the behavior as detrimental to the public image of our program, deep inside we should all be happy that someone is obsessed with the success of our program. I'd rather have this than someone who does coaching for the cheque and then go to another opportunity that they see better elsewhere.
We are at the point of picking your poison, a coach who can lose it on the sidelines with cameras pointing at him at all times or some poindexter that wouldn't get us near the success we've had under Dan Hurley. Other schools hate that we have him but if they had him they would overlook the antics he provides. That's what we have to do as well.
