2020 Recruiting: Javonte Brown-Ferguson Announcement Date

One thing to keep in mind is that 5/7 of those picks were from 2017 and 2018. Though 2 did flip to Iowa yesterday and this morning
Valid point for sure. Those 2 flips could’ve been “hop on the bandwagon” picks too. Safe to say you just never know what info the insiders have. Some of them that pick that long ago, they might hear new news but still won’t change their pick because they are true to the game and will own up to being wrong. You hope the UConns recent CBS are because they have good solid news.

You didn’t see he came back to have a tantrum the other day?

Iowa State just landed Xavier Foster. He had 100% (7 of 7) of his CBs going to Iowa. The fact we are getting picks for Javonte Brown Ferguson is good news but doesn’t mean he’s a lock. View attachment 47976
I saw that. What a punch in the stomach to have Jerry pick you and he goes with your in state rival. Relatively that could be akin to Cuse beating us out for a 5 star we thought was a lock.

IF we land him this would put out 2020 class at roughly 19th ranking with 53.54 points on 247 right behind Florida.

curious how did you get those numbers?

you can't add Javonte Brown Ferguson using the 2020 calculator yet since he hasnt reclassified. I used LJ Cryer as a placeholder (#88 in 2020 because Javonte Brown Ferguson is #88 in 2021 even though he will probably fall a few spots after reclassifying). Jackson + Cryer = Team Score of 48.44 which would be #33 for 2020.

But assuming this ends up being a 2 recruit class (juco transfers and/or grad-transfers arent factored into the Team Scores), all the other schools will eventually fill out their rosters causing our ranking to fall. A score of 48.44 would have ranked #48 in 2019. Still very solid for a 2 recruit class.

Our 2019 class was #19, with 4 freshmen recruits, there's just no way we can match that with only 2.

It wouldn't hold. We would drop as programs add more recruits.

not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing or just didn't read past my first sentence (no offense taken i think that happens a lot) but that's exactly what i was saying

Negative Comment about the AAC imo.

I'm fine with that and may have agreed until now, we are no longer an afterthought but we came damn close. A ways to go but good news is we've been places an A&M fan can't even dream of and not that long ago. Make this thread an afterthought after Javonte Brown Ferguson blows the Aggies off.
